This is a great Colorado State Park, although not huge, and is a great day adventure. We also enjoyed the natural caves on both sides of the falls. The walk to the top of the falls is very doable and worth it to see the falls from different angles. The water here is oxygenated from the nearby State Fish Hatchery... More

A great place to hike or camp. Spent the night in the campground, hiked to the top of the falls, viewed the caves, and generally had a great time,

Nice spot to go for a walk or hang with he family. I was there mid week and in early spring but it was a wonderful place to relax and walk and the drive is really scenic. If you have the time check it out.

Love this place. When I first met my boyfriend I took him up there and we had a great time hiking around and just chilling at the base of the falls. 4 years later, we got married at the ampitheater nearby. It's a great place with only a very short hike to get to it.

This little place is very pretty, but there is one secret at the top of the falls that was kind of a let down. The wife was very disappointed, but it's still a great place to see if you are in the neighborhood. Oh, the let down? The water is piped over the edge, to make better falls. It's not... More

Lovely place to visit. Decent hiking. It's even pretty when frozen over. A must stop if in Rifle or even passing through. A bit of a drive, but well worth it.

This area is a quick drive from Rifle. The parking area is very congested in nice weather but be patient and you should find a space. It is about 1/4 of a mile from where the parking lot ends to the beautiful falls. You can walk under the falls or walk to the top and look at the falls from... More

My wife and I came to Rifle to getaway to a quiet, peaceful place for the weekend. It is seriously a photographer's dream. We took so many pictures. It is a very short walk to the actual falls itself and then they have caves all along the falls that you can walk in. There are trails all around. It is... More

This is a great little hike to see a spectacular waterfall. If you can get into the parking area (sometimes you can't in the summer), it is only about a 400 meter hike to the waterfalls. Once you get there, you have a couple of options. 1, you can hike in and amongst the falls. 2, you can hike around... More

great trails around the falls/park. clean campgrounds (for Feb.) I was looking to see if I could do some ice climbing but there was no ice. This winter has been too warm. It is a beautiful place and worth a visit!
