My wife and I pulled off the road, seeking a massage. We’d like to come again to stay in the overnight accommodation next time because it was very relaxing, informal and with chilled out guests, but unfortunately we can’t tell you much about that aspect this time. As we were shown around, we learned that the site had a large... More

The grounds are beautiful and the pools temperatures are perfect. The natural stone and tall trees make this one of the nicest hot springs I've been to. This is a very peaseful spot to stargaze and soothe both mind and body. It is not a place for children, though they do have an indoor pool for the kids. I would... More

My friend, a faithful regular when he comes to town twice a year, dragged me to Orvis after a busy and exhausting Saturday of ice climbing. It was absolutely fantastic--warm, clean, discreet (clothing is optional in the particular pool we soaked in), and the night sky was astoundingly beautiful. I was too hot to soak my arms much and noticed... More

The hot spring was quite a ways farther than we expected and we showed up just a couple hours before closing. After paying the same fee as a full day we enjoyed the hot spring until close. After hearing the call that it was time to leave, my friends and I proceeded to the dressing rooms to dry off and... More

I have never been the hot tub kind of guy but this was pretty relaxing. A buddy and I went to check it out and weren't disappointed. It was kind of strange that your aches and pains really do go away after smoking in the hot springs. They pain did come back the next day though. The history of the... More

My gf and I stayed in the CABIN room and enjoyed the hot springs on both days we were there. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was nice and quiet, shared bath facilities clean and comfortable. As my gf (who has been here a number of times) said, the staff is always cleaning and tidying. If you are uncomfortable with... More

We visited the Orvis Hot Springs after a day at the Ouray Ice Park. The springs were just what we needed after a week of skiing and general playing outside. We were there for three to four hours and felt amazing after our soak. I've been to other hot springs that were more natural but this place certainly did the... More
