We started going 6 years ago on the suggestion of a acquaintance and have been going 2 to 3 times a year since. It is very relaxing and quiet. We always stay in there facility. There rooms are very comfortable. There are no TV's or radios. You may bring your own radio but cannot have it on after 10p. All... More

This was really relaxing. It's a spa-like experience. The pool is very natural looking, with rocks around the edges for sitting and resting your tea :) (complimentary tea). We did the quick dip and I feel like that's all we needed. They did have a very nice lounging lawn and also a super hot tub and sauna as well as... More

The only other time I'd been to a hot spring was in South Dakota...and it just felt like I was swimming in an indoor pool that was filled with lukewarm bathwater. Orvis Hot Springs was a completely new experience to me and I loved it. We went at dusk after a day spent on a jeep tour. It was such... More

People who visit hot springs in Colorado know that they can be overdeveloped (like Glenwood), or sort of tired and seedy (like Idaho Springs). This is one of the few places that has a great combination of hot water, and beautiful landscaping that makes it very inviting. The paths are paved with stones, the pools (all clothing optional) are nicely... More

My wife and I went to the hot springs last week. I had never done this before. I have severe anxiety but not while in the wonderful lithium springs. As a matter of fact I still feel better. Clothing optional was NO Big Deal. I'd never done that either, but after 5 mins it felt completely normal. Wonderful place. Can't... More

This is a clothing optional hot springs. Provide lockers for free...you can not take any electronics into the resort, this means no cameras phones or tablets.... Bring a book or magazine. Massages are provided and people you meet are great. Will go back again!

Orvis is, in our opinion, the BEST hot springs in Colorado. We have been there about 6 times on both weekdays and weekends (including 4th of July), and it has never been crowded. It is mainly a local spot, where ranchers and other local residents come to relax and soak. Ridgway is a true gem of Colorado, but the distance... More

This was our 5th summer visit to Orvis Hot Springs, and we stay one week each visit. The lodge has 6 rooms, all very cozy and comfortable.Massages are great, and soaking in the hot spring is very relaxing. We always meet nice and interested people from all walks of life, and we have already made our reservation for next summer... More

This place is so relaxing and wonderful! There are several soaking pools that are different temperatures. The staff was professional and very nice. I would recommend this place whole heartedly if you wand to just relax and chill out. A must go.

The minute I stepped into the pool relaxation took over and stress left my body. The pool has a hot gravel bottom which provides a natural foot massage as you walk through the water. Pisceans will love this! For me, a dry sauna is equivalent to a massage; this for the $14 day fee instead of $60 on a table.... More
