We stopped by for a quick soak after hiking around Mt. Sneffels. I like this setting better than the bigger hot springs in Colorado. As far as hot-springs go, I would place this below Strawberry in Steamboat and above most others. Biggest thing to know that it is clothing optional, so you can't take any pictures while soaking. We kept... More

This was the best Hot Springs experience I've had in Colorado! My husband and I arrived in the middle of the afternoon and chose to hang out mostly in the communal, clothing optional Hot Springs. The woman who checked us in at the door gave us a quick tour of the various pools, including pools with an private rooms, but... More

This was my first time at a hot spring & my husband's second time, so we don't really have much to compare it to. But we had a great time! Kept our suits on but there was a pretty good mixture of suits vs no suits. Seemed more relaxing than some of the other bigger hot springs like Glenwood or... More

We camped here for one night and unfortunately it was over 90 degrees because there is absolutely no shade. It is parking lot camping so keep this in mind. Also it is right off the main road so you don't get that wilderness feel that you get with, say Strawberry hot springs. The staff and other campers were extremely friendly.... More

We started going 6 years ago on the suggestion of a acquaintance and have been going 2 to 3 times a year since. It is very relaxing and quiet. We always stay in there facility. There rooms are very comfortable. There are no TV's or radios. You may bring your own radio but cannot have it on after 10p. All... More

This was really relaxing. It's a spa-like experience. The pool is very natural looking, with rocks around the edges for sitting and resting your tea :) (complimentary tea). We did the quick dip and I feel like that's all we needed. They did have a very nice lounging lawn and also a super hot tub and sauna as well as... More

The only other time I'd been to a hot spring was in South Dakota...and it just felt like I was swimming in an indoor pool that was filled with lukewarm bathwater. Orvis Hot Springs was a completely new experience to me and I loved it. We went at dusk after a day spent on a jeep tour. It was such... More

People who visit hot springs in Colorado know that they can be overdeveloped (like Glenwood), or sort of tired and seedy (like Idaho Springs). This is one of the few places that has a great combination of hot water, and beautiful landscaping that makes it very inviting. The paths are paved with stones, the pools (all clothing optional) are nicely... More

My wife and I went to the hot springs last week. I had never done this before. I have severe anxiety but not while in the wonderful lithium springs. As a matter of fact I still feel better. Clothing optional was NO Big Deal. I'd never done that either, but after 5 mins it felt completely normal. Wonderful place. Can't... More

This is a clothing optional hot springs. Provide lockers for free...you can not take any electronics into the resort, this means no cameras phones or tablets.... Bring a book or magazine. Massages are provided and people you meet are great. Will go back again!
