Call me prudish, but I was originally weary of visiting a “clothing optional” hot springs. However, after a long morning spent hiking Sneffels, my friends easily convinced me to take a dip at Orvis Hot Springs. In short, my experience was extremely comfortable and relaxing. Yes, there are naked soakers and sun bathers, but if you can get over that... More

Finding Orvis Hot Springs was not that easy, there´s no big advertising, just a little marker along roadside. As well the area / building is quite inconspicuous. The girl at the reception was giving a short tour, showing the area ... that´s some outdoor pools in different sizes and with different temperatures as well as an indoor pool plus some... More

Almost everything about this place is great. The springs are natural and the fact that it is clothing optional is a great benefit. My wife and I have been here several times and plan to go back again. The entire area is very nice and makes a great vacation spot. CON: There is a "smoking pool"! For a healthy type... More

The 4 hot spring pools provide a variety of soaking options...even a pool for smokers. The lobster pot is the hottest but bearable. The massage was great...just a half hour which isn't really long enough but sometimes the budget dictates. THANK you PATTY and JODY. Their skilled hands removed the stress and tension. My wife and I had a couples... More

This was my first visit to a clothing optional hot springs. The grounds, pools and facilities were nice and there really weren't that many creepy people there (you know, the kind that just stare). Unfortunately what was there were annoying children and their parents that are obviously clueless about how annoying they all are. And maybe it's just me, but... More

We stopped by for a quick soak after hiking around Mt. Sneffels. I like this setting better than the bigger hot springs in Colorado. As far as hot-springs go, I would place this below Strawberry in Steamboat and above most others. Biggest thing to know that it is clothing optional, so you can't take any pictures while soaking. We kept... More

This was the best Hot Springs experience I've had in Colorado! My husband and I arrived in the middle of the afternoon and chose to hang out mostly in the communal, clothing optional Hot Springs. The woman who checked us in at the door gave us a quick tour of the various pools, including pools with an private rooms, but... More

This was my first time at a hot spring & my husband's second time, so we don't really have much to compare it to. But we had a great time! Kept our suits on but there was a pretty good mixture of suits vs no suits. Seemed more relaxing than some of the other bigger hot springs like Glenwood or... More

We camped here for one night and unfortunately it was over 90 degrees because there is absolutely no shade. It is parking lot camping so keep this in mind. Also it is right off the main road so you don't get that wilderness feel that you get with, say Strawberry hot springs. The staff and other campers were extremely friendly.... More

We started going 6 years ago on the suggestion of a acquaintance and have been going 2 to 3 times a year since. It is very relaxing and quiet. We always stay in there facility. There rooms are very comfortable. There are no TV's or radios. You may bring your own radio but cannot have it on after 10p. All... More
