The staff here is not particularly welcoming, but we did not come here for that. The changing room was not particularly clean, but we are always careful to use flipflops to avoid contact with floors in public places like this. The pools range from very hot (the Lobster Pot) to a nice warm in the largest pool. The surfaces are... More

Very surprised by the lack of customer service at this place. My husband and I were excited for our first hot spring experience , but it was such a let down when the person at the front counter was very rude, short, no explanation on where to go , where / what the different pools were, and even inpatient with... The property is beautiful with 6 hot spring pools (one inside that's lukewarm but it's very popular with screaming kids - clothing is required in this pool). The big main pool outside is the most popular as the temp is around 105-107 deg. The nudity is obscene here and it's enough to not make me want to come back. Men... More

Call me prudish, but I was originally weary of visiting a “clothing optional” hot springs. However, after a long morning spent hiking Sneffels, my friends easily convinced me to take a dip at Orvis Hot Springs. In short, my experience was extremely comfortable and relaxing. Yes, there are naked soakers and sun bathers, but if you can get over that... More

Finding Orvis Hot Springs was not that easy, there´s no big advertising, just a little marker along roadside. As well the area / building is quite inconspicuous. The girl at the reception was giving a short tour, showing the area ... that´s some outdoor pools in different sizes and with different temperatures as well as an indoor pool plus some... More

Almost everything about this place is great. The springs are natural and the fact that it is clothing optional is a great benefit. My wife and I have been here several times and plan to go back again. The entire area is very nice and makes a great vacation spot. CON: There is a "smoking pool"! For a healthy type... More

The 4 hot spring pools provide a variety of soaking options...even a pool for smokers. The lobster pot is the hottest but bearable. The massage was great...just a half hour which isn't really long enough but sometimes the budget dictates. THANK you PATTY and JODY. Their skilled hands removed the stress and tension. My wife and I had a couples... More

This was my first visit to a clothing optional hot springs. The grounds, pools and facilities were nice and there really weren't that many creepy people there (you know, the kind that just stare). Unfortunately what was there were annoying children and their parents that are obviously clueless about how annoying they all are. And maybe it's just me, but... More

We stopped by for a quick soak after hiking around Mt. Sneffels. I like this setting better than the bigger hot springs in Colorado. As far as hot-springs go, I would place this below Strawberry in Steamboat and above most others. Biggest thing to know that it is clothing optional, so you can't take any pictures while soaking. We kept... More

This was the best Hot Springs experience I've had in Colorado! My husband and I arrived in the middle of the afternoon and chose to hang out mostly in the communal, clothing optional Hot Springs. The woman who checked us in at the door gave us a quick tour of the various pools, including pools with an private rooms, but... More
