My Husband and I spent the night in the " Antique" room ( it was the only smoking room and the only one left when we booked but there was good ventilation and NO smell!)I got a peek into the other rooms and they were all very attractive with better views!! We enjoyed soaking in all of the pools .... More

This is a great spot to stop for a soak after a long day or many days of Travel. Since this is a Clothing Optional Private Hot Spring, I suggest that unless you have Specifically raised your kids to be comfortable around Full Nudity to take them to the Ouray Hot Springs just a couple minutes south of Orvis/Ridgeway. Save... More

My husband and I just moved near Orvis and are now regulars here. So relaxing and quiet, the pools have different heat levels and the sauna is great. Highly recommend it!

Nothing can beat a relaxing stay - be it for a few hours or as an overnight guest - at Orvis Hot Springs. Be aware that this is a clothing optional facility, and that most guests enjoy the hot springs "au natural." Lewd and/or lascivious behavior is not tolerated or permitted. If you can't act mature and at-ease around naked... More

Orvis Hot Springs is in Ridgway Colorado where everyone should go at least once. It is directly north of Durango (and Ouray) Colorado. It is a little different and it has been there, waiting, a while. Wow.

Ok been here so many times I should be family. Incredible scenery, excellent pools, great people. Stayed here Labor Day weekend, was a bit busy, a couple rowdy kids but it clears out in early evening so enjoyed the sunset each night. The rooms were great and quiet, comfortable and relaxing are not adequate words.

It's kind of hard to enjoy the hot springs with lots of naked people around you. And it's just like the typical locker room at your gym--the people who probably should be wearing clothes are not, and also try to engage you in conversation. The grounds and the hot springs are very nice; the locker rooms are not the greatest.... More

Husband and I went after the place was recommended to us. Not much of a sight on line or in person looking at it from the outside, but once you get inside, its a different story. It's clothing optional, but you don't feel out of place with or without your bathing suit on. They have a large pool, a small... More

Stopped here en route to Mesa Verde. Very enjoyable. Would recommend bringing a picnic as the grounds are lovely. swimsuits are optional and we didn't feel uncomfortable wearing ours. reckon about thirty per cent were clothed. The cost was $16 per person which is good value if you have plenty of time and you can come and go. Unfortunately there... More

We just found this place and after many trips to the Ridgway area. I wish we'd been here more - the pools are lovely. All are warm and relaxing and special. We got here at dusk and stayed till closing. Outside pools are clothing optional.
