A Gem to See!

From early 1900s through late Vietnam displays and aircraft, it is a treasure to see Plan to take at least an hour or more. It is run by an all Volunteer staff!

Great introduction of the history of World War II aircraft, children certainly like the idea to be in the cockpit and close to the gauges any pilot should be able to operate correctly with instruction & education.

I have even there several times. Each time I enjoy remembering the wonder the WWII aircraft flying overhead.

My spouse and I visited on a Sunday afternoon. We got a personal tour from a retired gentleman who previously flew in the Navy. He had first hand experience on a number of the aircraft here, and told us some great stories. You can get inside a number of the aircraft on display. Definitely worth a visit.

I have a weakness for aviation museums and so was really excited there was one in Pueblo. This is no Smithsonian but it is unique because of the local history. During WW II Pueblo Army Air base was built for the training of bomber crews, not the pilots, but the crews that would be matched up with pilots and aircraft.... More

The museum is fascinating for those of us who like aircraft of various ages and types...especially those of us who grew up around aircraft. A couple of great items are the B-24 Museum and the B-29 on display. There are many more, so give yourself at least two or three hours to browse through the displays.

Pueblo is home to a little gem of a museum tucked away at the Pueblo Memorial Airport (KPUB). A very wide variety of military aircraft that gives Wings Over the Rockies a run for the money. Restored vintage military aircraft from the dawn of aviation to a modern fighter is on display for all genre of enthusiasts. Great weekend getaway... More

If you like old military aircraft this museum has some of the best. They range from WWII forward. The displayed aircraft are touchable overall a great museum my favorite I think is the B-29 "Peaches"

This museum is well on its way of becoming a top attraction in Pueblo, even though it's a work in progress. Very well done with some very interesting artifacts. Nice gift shop with friendly personnel. Worth returning to as it always seems to be improved with an additional building planned. If interested in military history it is definitely a must... More

We had our Christmas party at the Pueblo Aircraft Museum which included a self led tour of the facility. It was great. The food and service was good and everything was set up nicely. The museum itself was awesome. Everything is spread out enough to leasurely walk through. There are interesting stories that go hand in hand with most of... More
