The walking area is nice when accessible, the many identified flowers bushes is most interesting to view what really will grow in the Pueblo area. parking needs work.

The Raptor Center does a good job in providing information on the magnificent birds they have taken in that can't be released back into the wild. Seeing those birds up close was amazing. (Note: you reach the Raptor Center and its parking area before you get to the parking lot for the "Nature" conservation area, but you need to go... More

You can either just go for a walk along the river or just take a camera and look for birds. I'd recommend sitting down and watch the "fly" fisherman catch their dinner. Speaking of dinner don't miss the Coyote Grill.

My kids and I went to explore here. Nice trails and the staff at the bookstore was very informative about the local birds. The girls enjoyed seeing all the butterflies. The Raptor center was kind of boring but it is interesting to see large birds of prey up close. Overall, not bad for a $4 entrance fee.

Liked the information about and up-close viewing of these magnificent birds! This center really is doing a great job saving and trying to rehabilitate these magnificent creatures of nature. Don was very informative and helpful.

I loved the 30-minute educational program (11:30am Saturdays and Sundays). There is a restaurant there right on the Arkansas river - beautiful!

My family and I love the Nature and Raptor Center! I have a 3 and 5yr old I take very often! The have a small playground right by the water and nature trail. We ride our bikes on the trail. Its very smooth riding not a Lot of hills (I'm not in great shape and for me it was easy!).... More

This is a no frills place. No staff and no bathroom, either, when we went. So be prepared. Bring cash, to pay the honor system entrance fee of $3. It's a bit run down, but the birds are quite impressive. Bald eagles, hawks, falcons and owls, up close and personal. Some have notes about how they came to live there,... More

Slow down and enjoy nature at the center. Places to sit and watch the fauna and flora. The area is filled with all types of plants, trees, flowers, and birds, squirrels etc. The restaurant has good food, nothing fancy but good. You can sit on the patio and watch the river roll by.

This is a rehab center for injured birds of prey and give you the opportunity to see a variety of birds up close. They do a number of programs and several releases each year.
