We have travelled through Pueblo many times and always thought of it as old industrial. Not anymore. We took the time to venture about four blocks into town. The welcome center told us about the river walk. You can stroll along the banks and enjoy the peaceful waterfalls, ducks playing in the water and children playing in the fountain. It... More

Pueblo just never seems to get it. They turn away a large casino hotel and then allow a Pro Bull Riders office to be put here and a cell phone call center. Well - that is certainly going to attract visitors and tourists . The walks and boat rides are under scorchign hot sun in the hot months. Most of... More

My husband and I are new to Pueblo and we went down to check out the River walk. It was a beautiful day and we walked around the walk and had Sushi for lunch at the Blue Ocean and it was excellant. We then shopped at a local shop and purchased a coffee table hand made locally with natural wood.

Maybe the riverwalk is better in the summer, but in the winter it's not impressive. When one thinks riverwalk, one thinks San Antonio. This is nothing in comparison.

We have been down to the riverwalk several times. It is designed very well and always fun to stroll around. We always take visitors down to the riverwalk.

The Historic Arkansas Riverwalk is one of the many jewels Pueblo has to offer. This is one of my favorite places for many reasons. It's a great place to take a leisurely walk, watch the ducks, look at the fountains, enjoy local entertainers/artists, pay respect to our veterans, or get a little exercise. As the seasons change so do the... More

Like other riverwalks around the country, HARP offers a little history and hipness to help revitalize our downtown landscape. Seasonally the area offers space for local artists, farmer's markets, music, and other events. If you are expecting something akin to the riverwalk in San Antonio or other larger areas you may feel the area is a bit of a miss,

Visiting family for the holidays we walked the entire length of the river walk taking in the holiday lights. There are several shops and restaurants surrounding the area. Lots of places to relax and chat and take in the sites. My understanding is there are lots of activities and events especially in the summer. There is a pizza restaurant called... More
