The zoo is great! Smaller than ours at home, but nicer because you can see the animals better and their are large shade trees through most of the walkways, so even though it was hot, it was bearable in the shade. The kiddie amusement park was great!! Very inexpensive, no lines and my 3&5 years loved it.

The "City Park" is next to the Pueblo Zoo. There is no admission charge for the Park but you have to buy tickets to go on the rides. It is GREAT for small kids. The Merry-Go-Round is spectacular. An original from the early 1900's. The total number of rides is about 10 or 12. Enough to keep small kids entertained.

This is a quaint community park with kiddie rides a zoo and a couple of small lakes. It also has a small train for the kids and young at heart. One of the attration is its beautiful carousel. Nice place for a picnic.

This gem of a park has so much to do! The Frisbee golf course is fun, plenty of places to picnic, dog park, pool, tennis courts and we especially love the kiddie amusement park with rides just .25 cents and a fun train for adults and kids alike that take you on a little ride around the park. This park hosts... More

Pueblo City Park is not your typical city park with trees, picnic tables and roads for walking and biking. No, not at all. First, you do have all those options available for park users. But there is much more. How about the very well used swimming pool open for the summer. Our visiting granddaughter was amazed at the size of... More

For a small city of 100,000, Pueblo has one of the best city parks I've seen. Beautifully kept, this little gem offers a public swimming pool, a duck pond, kids' fishing pond, dog park, tennis courts, a frisbee golf course, playground, picnic shelters, and an antique carousel, mini choo-choo train, and assortment of seasonal kiddie carnival rides, for just 25... If you have young kids, you definitely need to take them to the rides at City Park. As long as they are walking, there are rides for them to ride. We took our 2 and 4 year old and they had a blast! We rode the carousel and the train as a family and they rode the rest of the... More
