This is more than a wildlife experience. Young children have the opportunity for many hands on experiences that will help them understand how the world around them works. So, there are not only exhibits, but there are interactive activities that keep children away from their ipods and TVs. Attention spans of any children in your group will determine how much... More

This conveniently located destination is chock full of great exhibits and interesting demonstrations! It has a great theater and fully occupies kids of all ages! The theater has 3D capability and is IMAX-like with interesting shows that change periodically! At Christmas time they have wonderful lights and outdoor activities and attractions - a great place to visit and visit again.... More

We went with another family and there were four adults and three children. The three and four year old enjoyed the museum. There were a few interactive exhibits that were a big hit. The kids corner was also fun. My son was a little apprehensive about the animals that made noise but it wasn't overwhelming. The café was excellent! We... More

Great museum, wonderful & helpful staff/volunteers. Very kid friendly with lots of clean, large bathrooms! Beautiful, clean facility. We especially enjoyed the wildlife scavenger hunt and live reptiles exhibit. We loved the 3D Sharks movie. My older & younger kids enjoyed everything! Great experience!

Grandma & Grandpa from California take 3 year old grandson for a couple of days. Searching for fun things to do, we discovered The Wildlife Experience. What a pleasant indoor, civilized activity this is. We spent almost 3 hours there and the little one enjoyed every minute. (That says a lot right there). As others have said, it is excellent... More

The Wildlife Experience does a nice job of offering things to keep children interested, as well as adults who enjoy art about nature and wildlife. The children's exhibits are plentiful and varied, and there always seems to be a school classroom or two touring the museum during the day. For the adults, they have a number of rooms of amazing... You'll see various replicas of habitats with fake animals to represent them, which reminds me of a zoo, but non-living. There is a nice "Discovery Zone" geared toward younger kids as well as "Cubs corner" also for the 5 and younger crowd mainly. So for that age group it's worthwhile. My daughter is now 10 & when I tell her... More

The place if definately more geared towards littler kids. We enjoyed the visit we made there, but again, it's best for kids, not pre-teen or teenaged kids.
