We were members for several years and loved to take the kids because it was the only "museum" type activity in South Denver. They often had really interesting exhibits ( reptile exhibit, Lego exhibit, etc...) as well as seasonal events that the kids really enjoyed. The staff was always incredible and well informed. Then CU came in ...... Now, no... More

I love the brew and wine fests held at the Wildlife Experience. The movies are also fun, and the exhibits are wonderful. The last time we attended was shortly after the announcement that REMAX had purchased the WE and that it was becoming a new home for University of Colorado. I think that it is a great place for the... More

There are so many options when visiting TWE. We've had a membership for a couple years, so we can go in on most breaks to see the new exhibits, and revisit the permanent Globeology. The Science on a Sphere globe they have upstairs can be used by teachers to show any type of data from NOAA! There are a few... More

This museum was privately owned and was donated to be a part of the C S U campus. A large part has been converted to classrooms. The main museum is still intact but the future of the museum is unknown. They have cancelled all memberships. It was a fun place to take the kids during cold afternoons and although it... More

A nice theatre showing great Imax movies! The animal exhibits are rather disappointing. A fun movie experience on a cold winter day.

Only about 8 things in whole place are actually interactive. Old school electronic movements, very cheesy. We were very disappointed, due to high cost to get in versus actual quality of views and items. Animal are all recreated and false fur is bare in some spots making it fell even less and less real. This place needs more animal noises,... More

The kids loved the visiting Lego exhibit. That's why we went. The permanent wildlife exhibit is OK, but might not be very engaging to a lot of kids. Our 5 year old got bored looking at the stuffed/mechanical animals after 15 minutes. It's really geared to older kids say 7 and up. The Imax movies are nice.

We were lucky enough to go during the exhibit of animal artists. Amazing works of art in so many different mediums. The globology section was relateable for adults and children. Included in this were "diaramas" which were educational and great to look at.They really gave you a feel for the parts of the world they were demonstrating.
