We were lucky enough to go during the exhibit of animal artists. Amazing works of art in so many different mediums. The globology section was relateable for adults and children. Included in this were "diaramas" which were educational and great to look at.They really gave you a feel for the parts of the world they were demonstrating.

We didn't quite know what to expect from the Wildlife Experience based on the website descriptions. Now that we've seen it, it makes more sense. It's basically a modern take on typical museums with motion-activated animals and people in the diorama scenes instead of everything being stuffed. You can walk through different habitats and see all the animals. Along the... More

Best location near Parker to get away with the grand baby and stroll down an enclosed ramp 1,2,3 times. Especially good for the littles who love to ride and look, senses tuned! Exercises the old Grandma without worrying about weather-related issues. And when it is time for the babes to stretch and crawl, there is a room dedicated to just... More

We were looking for something to do near Lone Tree and happened upon this place. They were having a discount day, $5 per over 3yrs. They had live wolves there that day which was neat. It's like a zoo but the animals are automated and set in a mock natural habitat. They do have an aquarium area with live fish,... More

We stopped by to kill time before checking into our hotel. It was super quiet. We did a scavenger hunt and played games about each climate zone. The IMAX was probably a good show but we were so exhausted from traveling we got a 45 minute nap. There isn't a ton to do for Tweens. There was a little kid... More

The Colorado Wildlife Experience in Parker, is a "one of a kind family experience." There is an IMAX theatre, a elementary school photogallery, original oils by US artist of many, many forms (animals, large and smal)l. A walkthrough indoor trail with animated character's human and animal. Quarterly changing exhibits. There is a small gift shop and an indoor events center, for... More

This is a nice museum with a nice variety of animals and activities for kids of all ages. It's especially convenient during cold winter months when you feel 'cooped up' inside. Plenty of room to walk and kids to run - a concession stand/deli and a couple of age appropriate play areas. It is definitely worth the trip!

We took our family of five and were out in an hour. There wasn't much to do. You get more bang for your buck at the Museum of Nature and Science.

Very nice little wildlife museum. Nice place for kids. The scavenger hunt was a good way to take up an hour or so. Probably good for smaller children.

This is a great place to take the kids to. You can walk thru the exhibits and feel like you are at some very far away exotic place seeing wildlife in their natural habitat. It is appropriate for all ages. The price of an annual pass is very affordable so you can visit often as they change exhibits. They have... More
