This place reminded us of Gundlach Bundshuh in Sonoma. Loved the Cab Franc in particular, but all of their wines were really good. We're somewhat of wine snobs and didn't expect a lot from this region, honestly, but were quite impressed here. Great, comfortable, atmosphere and really good wines. We tried to have other patrons take a picture, but it... More

We were surprised when we followed the signs and ended up at a garage. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the knowledge and passion that the winery owner has for his wines and his business. Each of his wines were very well done, we especially liked the Merlot and the Riesling.

Ken was a wonderful host and my little group of friends had a good time. Good times and great wine definitely worth dropping by if your in the area.

This is one of the best if not the best winery in the area. Ken is an amazing host and cares very much about his wine. Oh, and did I mention the wine is absolutely amazing. This is the only place you can get his wine, and trust me, it is definitely worth it!

We were running the winery circuit when we stopped here and sat at a table--in the garage. Nothing pretentious about Hermosa! The owner poured the wine, told stories and generally entertained his guests, something we really enjoyed. We purchased a 2009 Merlot. If you appreciate his tender loving care wines, buy it while there because he doesn't distribute.

This was the first winery we stopped at on our tour of Palisades and we loved it! The owner was great and the wonderful visit set the tone for the rest of the day. I will come back here every time!

We tasted some wonderful wine and learned a bit about the wine-making process. Kenneth was welcoming and knowledgable. He gave us a short tour as well. Definitely one of my favorite vineyards in Palisade!

Visited several wineries over Thanksgiving weekend with my girlfriends. I am known as a bit of a "red wine snob" and thought my experience would be similar to wineries in Missouri and Washington. ( Some OK whites and overpriced Nortons) To my surprise, Colorado has some of the best, well rounded wines I have ever tasted. The Hermosa winery was... More

Stopped in and enjoyed our tasting with the owner. Very low key tasting room in a garage. Wine is good. Owner is happy to share his knowledge and his passion. A good stop if in the area. Pours are heavy. We bought a bottle.
