We start with pure, raw Orange Blossom honey, then ferment it. We also craft fruit 'n honey wines. They're blends of mead and fruit wines such as blackberry, strawberry & peach. We also carry fortified dessert wines. Mead is one of the oldest alcoholic drinks known to man and has a rich and interesting history. Stop in to our tasting room in the heart of Palisade, CO to learn more and have complimentary tastes of our mead. « less

This little store is right off of the main drag. It's very easy to find and worth the visit! My wife and I tried a few meads and loved the Apricots and Honey Mead. The others are great too! Lindsey was super cheerful and helpful. It's also a great place for little gifts and unlikely surprises like the delicious pepper... More

Mead with taste different from anything else in the area so take your time and savor it. We were the first tasting of their morning and they were so accommodating letting us share tastes among the six of us so we could taste everything they offered. Lucky for us the couple touring with us weren't afraid of germs so between... More

The meadery is one of the first places I take people who come to visit me from out of town. Cindy one of the people who was helping us, was not only very helpful but was very informative. Great place to start on any wine tour in Palisade.

My mom and I visited the Meadery on a Wednesday in June. There were very few cars at the Meadery when we stopped by. Inside we found pleasant service and we were introduced to their various drinks. The meads really do have the taste of honey and are smooth wines. We purchased a few bottles and a few mementos in... More

Something different from the average winery: wine purely from honey! Hadn't had it before, genuinely loved it. A local gal, named "Karey," waited on us and her enthusiasm and knowledge showed us there was nothing to fear and everything to love! Also a great gift shop. Don't miss it on a trip to Palisade wine country.

Went here on the way to Moab because our friend had never had honey wine. Palisades is a sweet little town. Our first stop was The Meadery and Cindy let us taste the wines. It was May and not much going on. Private tasting. Very enjoyable. Part of the experience is the person pouring and Cindy seemed to love her... More

Really like the idea of making wine from honey, but didn't make it too far down the list before the wines got too sweet for us. Did buy a jar of Honey Bourbon marinade that we are looking forward to trying soon! Interesting to hear the history and try some different wines. Not sure if we will try it again... More

My mom and I visited the Meadery on a recent trip to Palisade. What a wonderful selection of unique food and gift items, besides the fantastic wine selection. The employee, so sorry I can't remember her name, was so educated on their wine and what it paired well with- great to have such friendly suggestions. She was also very knowledgeable... More
