This vineyard gives you a glass and lets you sample everything. Be selective. Just a warning so you don't end up loving every wine you taste. Very friendly and a wide selection of wines. Our group came here this time to try their Colorado Trinity Champagne. Once again we were disappointed as they only bottle (by hand) in the off-season... More

Other reviews have sighted the obscure sign in the corner charging for tasting if you do not make a purchase. If you believe in your product and are enthusiastic about selling it, you wouldn't need to recoup a loss but rather write it off as advertising. The orange moscato was nice and we purchased a bottle. The hostesses were nice... More

To me, this is what singled this tasting out from others. If you like fruit wine, this is the place to go. The main wines were actually attached to spigots and it was a serve-yourself thing with tiny glasses. The tender, however, took out bottles of all the fruit wines for me and I could taste as many as I... More

This winery have some of our faves. The Gewurztraminer, the White Riesling and the Roadkill Red are to die for! Their fruit wines are awesome! We just try their Orange Muscat and their pomegranate we bought a bottle of each of those.

Touted as Colorado's oldest winery, you would think they would know better than to expect potential buyers to get a feel for their wines by drinking from what I would call a miniature shot glass. No swirling there! Served from a tap, the bottles are displayed in a case; active bottles have a tube going to a spigot. No background,... More

Colorado Cellars is one of the original wineries in Colorado. Over that period they've mastered the art, as their large and growing collection of awards testifies. They have 2 dozen wines that range from traditional dry reds and classic whites, to fruit blend selections and several dessert wines. I was there on a Monday afternoon and the server was a... More

This winery has something of everything. Traditional varietals are dispensed from a bar you pour from yourself. The roadkill red is a really interesting sweeter red. Not something I thought I would like but I loved it. They have many fruit wines. The blackberry was amazing. It was really fun trying so many different kinds of wines. They sell lots... More

These folks have set up several containers of wine with spigots and they give you a small plastic cup and you fill your cup from as many varieties as you wish. At first this seems rather strange but when you realize that you can taste as you wish, on your own schedule and even get seconds, it is unique and... More

We enjoyed our tasting of wine and snacks at this winery. They had a unique tasting room that we all enjoyed. It was fun to pour or own samples and they were very generous with the quantity of tasting for both wind and food.

This place was a little weird. When we arrived there was a good amount of people and they all had plastic cups in the tasting room. Apparently we pour our own wines from the spickots and when I looked over they cleaned the taster spoons and used plastic wine cups for the next customers... :( not big on fruity wines,... More
