We went with another couple. The guys were wanting something more to a class 3-4. Myself and the other wife were wanting calm. The water was low so the water ended up being a class 1-2. The sights were beautiful and we had a great time. Highly recommend this company. Our guide was informative and you could tell he knew... More

This is a difficult hike. My husband (44) and I (34) are not avid hikers but do stay in decent shape. We had a very difficult time. The view is totally worth it but we were certainly sore for a few days afterward. Our guide was Brian and he was great! I felt totally safe with him. He knew what... More

06:45 was an early start for us. Loaded into a school bus, once everyone showed up. The driver Scott entertained us with local history and information. Rough ride on gravel, washboarded roads. Had to go further down the road, as the river had dropped one foot in just a week. Safety was their prime concern, repeated instructions before everyone boarded... More

My wife and I on May 31, did a four hour raft through the Mesa Canyon. Excellent ride with a good mix of steep canyon walls and open meadows. There had been several weeks of rain and snow in the mountains so the San Juan River was flowing well with plenty of excitement through the rapids. There were seven of... More

We took rafting trip on Wednesday in the end of September. Tour departed from the Wyndham Activities Center in Pagosa Springs. Cost $75 p/p for Wyndham guests. It was 3 of us and 3 other people. 6 total + our guide. We went to Lower San Juan River. At first we had scenic 45 minute drive to the launch point... More

Our first trip with the Wilderness Journeys Tours was our rafting trip. Our guide, Jake, was great! We were quite a few of us on this rafting trip and went by two large 15-passenger vans to the point where we would begin our rafting trip. There was beautiful scenery and Jake told many stories about the different places we passed... More

We did the 3-hour trip for our extended family, ages 3-35+. They accommodated all 19 of us. We had used them previously and will use them again!

We booked the Durango and Silverton Railroad trip through the Wyndam. Our driver was Morgan and he was informative and funny. Would be happy to ride with him anytime!

In August 2013 my husband and I went on a 4-hour wilderness tour. We chose this tour based on the description that we read on the website. My first disappointment was that we were in a 15 passenger van. I expected a vehicle that we would more easily be able to see the beautiful mountains that we were riding through.... More

We were staying at the Wyndham so this company is really convenient. Four of us did the rafting on the San Juan. Like the other review, it was tame because of the water level. But it was fine for our first time rafting friends. Our guide was really good at getting us off the rocks. Had a touch of rain... More
