For anyone visiting Pagosa Springs and who is interested in seeing a wonderful working studio and gallery, I would highly recommend you visit ShyRabbit Contemporary Art and visit with owners Denise and Michael Coffee. Shy Rabbit is a must if you are traveling anywhere near Pagosa Springs. You can stop in and enjoy the current art exhibit and visit with the friendly and fun gallery owners. Or you can do what I did. A friend described our recent visit this way, “like a trip to a small museum with a personnel tour by the art director”! The owners, who are artists and collectors, have created a very warm atmosphere with lots of art to ponder. I never miss a chance to check out the latest show at SHY RABBIT. They also have fabulous workshops. I always enjoy my time there and now often go to Pagosa Springs for the express purpose of visiting SHY RABBIT.
