Very unique experience. Curt is a very interesting guy and extremely passionate about what he does. Have been to a lot of great museums including ones in D.C. and in Europe and this one is fantastic. Eric, Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts about the tour. It is inspiring and uplifting to have you compare your experience here to that in Washington DC and Europe. It was a fun tour for me. It was amazing how your son quickly fell asleep as we all exchanged our thoughts. Like magic he woke at... More

My family and I had the absolute pleasure to tour the museum with Kurt. Coming from Washington, DC, we are used to visiting the Smithsonian museums and love to read the stories behind the collection items. Kurt's collection and stories equaled those of the Smithsonian with the added bonus of being presented by Kurt who has great knowledge of the... More

Your response, along with others, make it worth getting up each day to learn something new and to share it with others. You both are very fortunate to have wonderful children that love to learn about... More

The Alchemist's proprietor is a retired Pharmacist and his beautiful building is filled with ornate woodwork and items related to pharmacies and their predecessors. Rick gives tours of his museum twice a day so we called the night before to visit. He did a great job of telling the history of the healing arts with a lot of interesting stories... More

Thank you deeply for coming to the tour. I always find it fun and interesting in doing family tours. What I mean by that, is how the family interacts and their love of history. I must say, you have a wonderful family and it shows the love and caring you both have put forth. Since, I'm going to live to... More

We happened to stumble upon this pharmacy museum on our way to Telluride and as a pharmacy student I found it very interesting to learn about the history of my career. Curt is very knowledgeable and has a passion for what he does. He was so welcoming and really sparked my interest in the history of alchemy and pharmacy. It... More

What a unique timing expierence. You both showed me that our future pharmacist have the character and knowledge, that we as humans will need now and in the future. You're the future and yet you'll be the past. God bess. Curt More

This buyer gets only the best from around Colorado, even large items like bars and bears. Worth dropping in - museum in back.

My boyfriend and I came to explore the mountain towns and decided to stop in Ouray. By far the best decision because of the Alchemist Museum. I love history and my boyfriend loves chemistry so this was a perfect fit! It wasn't too heavy on either subject but still provided interesting insights into the history of medicine. We had such...
