The vapor caves where much cooler than I thought they would be and this was a very relaxing experience! If you've never done it before you should put it on your list of things to do for the experience alone. As a side note, we did not stay at the hotel

We stayed here one night. I loved the vapor cave and outside hot spring. The rooms were quaint and simple. I would come back to this place again!

We camped above Ouray for six nights. The usual problem with camping for so long is the lack of bathing options. But camping near Ouray makes that problem easy to solve: hot springs! We saw the large pool facility and decided it wasn't for us. Wiesbaden is very quiet and nice. The vapor cave is unusual, to say the least,... More

Wiesbaden is ok, the Vapor Cave is pretty cool. The pool could use a good cleaning, and this is from a guys point of view. We stayed in the Hill Cabin. It was quaint enough. Pros: Quiet, secluded, & a small kitchen. And it was very clean! Cons: Terrible mattress, no water pressure in shower. We showered down in the... More

We have stayed here before & it's very quant and peaceful. This trip, we just went for a wonderful massage with Vicky and to sit in the hot springs. This is a historical place were chief Ouray lived. The healing waters are amazing to sit in. Don't miss this hotel and spa. The staff and owner are always sweet.

Soak those bones and stiff joints (not those joints, although that is a definite possibility, if you are so inclined). Lots of fun slides have been added for the kids. Nice areas for lunch or dinner breaks.

We didn't stay at the hotel but checked out the hot springs vapor cave. We went first thing in the morning and were the only people in the vapor cave. We came dressed in our bathing suits freshly showered. There is a place to store clothes and shoes in a little cubby but leave your valuables in the car. We... More

Tucked up against the rising, snow covered peaks near the center of town at high end of 6th Street; you will find well hidden Wiesbaden Hot Springs Spa. Unlike the public springs on 550 this facility is private and has been family owned for decades. The "vapor cave" is remarkable and the hot pools are wonderful. You can rent a... More

The Wiesbaden spa and vapor caves have long been a favorite place of mine. I hadn't been for years, and it was good to see it unchanged. The caves and small pool are much more to our liking than the big public pool full of kids. It was quiet, uncrowded, and extremely relaxing. I have had massages there, but only... More
