We'd never been to a place quite like this. The vapor caves are directly beneath the hotel. We didn't stay at the hotel, but just paid the $12 winter rate and spent a couple of hours in the cave and in the hot tub outside. We were practically the only ones there. More

The vapor cave is such a unique experience! It is a great detoxer and if you get too hot go just outside the door and lie against the rocks and let the cold water run over you. Or go outside to the pool and enjoy the surrounding beauty! More

I did not stay here but went for a few hours to soak in the hot springs. The cave pool, although really cool looking, was way to hot for even just one toe. However the outside pool was perfect. Know this before you go: 1) You cannot make a reservation for the vapor cave and main pool (you can reserve the private spring). 2) The number of people allowed into the spring is controlled/limited at any given time so that those using the more intimate vapor cave and pool can enjoy their time.
