Tucked up against the rising, snow covered peaks near the center of town at high end of 6th Street; you will find well hidden Wiesbaden Hot Springs Spa. Unlike the public springs on 550 this facility is private and has been family owned for decades. The "vapor cave" is remarkable and the hot pools are wonderful. You can rent a... More

The Wiesbaden spa and vapor caves have long been a favorite place of mine. I hadn't been for years, and it was good to see it unchanged. The caves and small pool are much more to our liking than the big public pool full of kids. It was quiet, uncrowded, and extremely relaxing. I have had massages there, but only... More

If you are in the area this is a must. We did not stay in the hotel. We just used the vapor cave. Very cool (hot) experience. It's very relaxing and unique. We met a nice couple from the area that had come to soak and relax and it was a highlight of our driving trip. I would definitely stop... More

The hotel is quirky and individual, no corporate blandness here. But what you should be going for is the hot spring, it's just a cave, Brilliant! and hot. If it is snowing outside combine a visit to the cave with a roll in the snow by the outdoor pool. You have to walk past reception in your swimming costume, delightfully... More

The contrast of cold weather out and warm (hot) water in was stimulating and relaxing both! This spa features nice dressing rooms, showers, towels, staff and location. An interesting feature was a cave on the site with a hot spring where history of Chief Ouray coming and the ceremony he conducted there.

Great hot springs and loved the vapor cave. We did not stay in the hotel but wished we did. Ouray is a great place to visit too.

I put this review originally under the hotel not knowing their was a spot for the spa. We did not stay here, but we went here for massages and to use the vapor caves. Ofcourse we thought about staying here but decided to go with a different hotel, but while we were here of course we checked everything out. The... More

We did not stay here, but we went here for massages and to use the vapor caves. Ofcourse we thought about staying here but decided to go with a different hotel, but while we were here of course we checked everything out. The front pool is literally in the front so everyone driving up sees you hanging out in the... More

We went to Wiesbaden for the hot springs in a "cave" which really looked very artifical when we got there. It looked more like someone's basement. We made the most of our $15 (which gave us a 3-hour stay) by going in and out of the hot springs then upstairs to the outdoor pool to enjoy the view of the... More

We did not stay at the property although it's very cute in a 70's kind a way. It's the best $15 spent in Ouray for a 3 hour experience. There is a swimming pool outdoors that is quiet and lovely fed by the hot springs, but the real experience is below ground in what was once Chief Ouray's ritual cave.... More
