We've had great experiences with Eldora Ski School, and the green runs are ideal for newer skiers and boarders. I also like that there are some more challenging runs for me to enjoy while the kids were in ski school. Conditions can occasionally be amazing, but often windy. Food is ridiculously expensive though, so bring your own snacks and stop... More

If you are reading this, you must be a visitor to Colo. This is a Local Favorite and 60 minutes from Boulder this ski area. You can save yourself a long drive if you want to ski for a few days and are staying in the Boulder / Denver area. The runs range from beginner to expert, and the Blues... More

I had a great day here. The 11 inches of powder helped that a lot. It's a small mountain and the lifts are very slow, but I'm not marking it down for that. I'm comparing it to other resorts like Vail and Heavenly. Which may or may not be fair, I don't know. I would like to ski here again... More

We used to love going to Eldora for the convenience and price. Although the runs are few and short, it is a trip you can do in the day and still get home at a decent time because you are not stuck on the highways. Beware of the wind (which blows frequently and fiercely-check the weather before you go). This... More

The adults in our group had fun on the slopes while the little ones did ski school. They can do ski school at age 4 and up. It is a great ski school. This resort is close to Estes Park.

Not as busy as the big names. The staff was great, friendly, and helpful to us Iowa skiers. Everybody made you feel ok about our level of abilities. Kids welcome. I would, however, recommend eating elsewhere. The food was mediocre, and overpriced. Hot food meant luke warm at best. But, the quality of the people that worked their made you... More

This resort and the city of Boulder come together to make a ski day easy. No car no problem-just catch the city bus in downtown Boulder and 40 minutes later you are dropped in front of the resort's lodge. The staff are friendly and helpful-we rented equipment and took a lesson-Matt was great with my daughter-a beginning skier. I have... More

While the skiing was good, and no lift lines, but the locals were rude and never said thanks, held a door or even said on left as they fly by, almost cutting you off. I heard that lift lines are really bad during the weekend. The lifts are all slow, non detachable lifts. The terrain was decent for blue and... More

We skied Eldora today and while the website said 100% of all runs were open a large number of runs actually weren't open. The Indian Peaks lift never opened and the Corona lift closed mid-day after it "derailed." As my son said "derailed my butt," more like they were too cheap to pay a few lift folks to keep it... Had a wonderful day at Eldora. Could have been much better if they provided good rentals. I payed $45 to get horrible boots, that hurt my feet the whole day causing blisters eventually. Ski's were ok at most. When complaining they were nice and said I could pay $10 more to get better equipment. However one assumes that for $45... More
