Nice swim during the cooler nights in summer.

I enjoyed going at night when it's cooler (in the summer). I suppose it's busy during the day, but it's an enjoyable experience.

Beautiful hot springs surrounded by mountainous beauty. There are a couple of different pools to chose from. You can even walk down to the river where there are some hot spots that are just delightful.

It was the best hot springs I've been to in Colorado because the sulfur content in the water was lower than what is in others. They also have hot springs pools you can sit in in the Arkansas River although they were closed because the water was so high it was running really fast.

We stayed at the cabins by the hot springs. Very nice cabins. They are clean, and the kitchen is well equipped. There is a dishwasher, microwave, full size fridge, range top, and plenty of cooking pans and cookware, but there is no oven. The staff has been very friendly, and the spa looks amazing. The bathhouse and pools are fun.... More

We didn't stay here, just went to use the hot springs. The river portion was unusable so basically we paid close to $20 per person to use a pool. The waterside is NOT included in this and you must pay extra for it. It started raining 5 minutes after we got there and there are no refunds so we toughed... More

So we were having a romantic getaway in a snowbound condo in Leadville. On the coffee table there was a brochure for the Hot Springs in Nathrop, CO... implicit that it was open to the public as EVERY hot spring I have EVER been to. There were these pictures of these gorgeous descending private pools and I was super excited...... More

For those who are in better than average shape, this place is gorgeous and lots of fun. You need to be able to climb out of a swimming pool without a ladder, and stand up from the ground with nothing to grab to truly enjoy it. Otherwise your visit will be frustrating and annoying, and some things won't be available... More
