A little gem in the mountain

Great hotel in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. We spent all day in the hot springs and finished our night with an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant.

Another disapointment with this place. The nice surroundings are certainly far away from the concrete jungle of Glenwood Springs, however Princeton resort is just another commercial place with no charm and even more disturbing not one single umbrella and worn out, dirty sunbeds. Undertsood from loyal customers that this spring was taken over with massive investement to turn this into... More

This place is a fresh treat! In this day and age to find a non commercial resort was a pleasant surprise. The naturalness of the hot springs has been kept in tact. One can experience the natural hot springs flowing directly into the river, plenty of clean pools on the property for one and all. The spa is a welcome... More

There are several swimming pools and soaking pools fed by the local hot springs. There is even a long, winding waterslide.

Was staying at a cabin nearby. Looked at the website several times and made several phone calls. "Service" was disinterested at best. Could not get a direct answer as to exactly where the hot springs were located. We had been on the main road several times and hadn't seen a sign (when we finally found it, it was 90% obscured... Our base was in Canon City , an hour and a half drive, and it was my idea to come to the springs to enjoy the scenery and the water. I was somewhat disappointed because I am a freak when it comes to hair floating in the pool and the hair is catching in your hand and toes. Well, I... More

Very disappointed! The pools were way overcrowded, the beds are very hard, like sleeping on plywood with half inch foam on them, the pillows are worn out and flat, had to stack 3 to make one, the internet runs at 1.4 mbps. Disabled access is very poor. Did have a good burger in the restaurant and the staff there was... More

The hot springs are crazy expensive and the facilities are a bit dated, but we had fun. The showers get crazy hot if lots of people are using them- biut the upper pool showers are a bit better.

The spot we used was only open to adults and people staying at the resort. Quiet not crowded. We were disappointed the creek was open because of high fast moving water but did not want to be swept away

My kids loved the upper pool which has a water slide that's built into the hill. They provide mats that you slide down. The pools are warm. They close at 6. There are also two pools lower down, one of which is very hot 107 and the other is 97. These are next to the river. I think there are... More
