Something to consider when you entertain the thought of skydiving with Mile High. The other side of the Mile High Skydiving story is that their most heavily used jump plane, the de Havilland Twin Otter, creates an incredibly loud, reverberating, continuous ear-drum busting sound that is driving hundreds of Longmont and Boulder County residents crazy. The owner of the business... More

Courteous, professional people running the place. Very knowledgeable and willing to freely share the knowledge as well. Great place to jump!

I've jumped all over the U.S. and this is by far the least professional and most un-safe DZ I've ever seen! Terrible pre-jump preps, unsafe conditions and equipment, and the least air-aware canopy work I've witnessed in 25 years of jumping. Simply a matter of time before a serious mishap kills someone and shuts this place down. (And crazy expensive,... More

I can't express enough gratitude to the members of Mile-Hi Skydiving Center for the caring and support they provided me while there to make my very first skydive (tandem). Rob was very assuring in helping me get ready and preparing me for the experience and Allison was introduced as the one who would be recording all of it on video... More

I was very nervous about skydiving, but my jump master, Jacob was fantastic. He explained everything to me very patiently and even during the jump, he told me everything he was doing before he did it, which was really helpful and comforting. I didn't want to be surprised by anything. I didn't think I'd say this, but I would definitely... More

After we were cancelled at another Skydiving location due to mechanical difficulties, we found Mile-Hi Skydiving in Longmont. They were booked up for the day, but told us to stop by and they might be able to get us in the air. Expecting a 2-4 hour wait, we were thrilled when they called our names after just 15 minutes. This... More

For any first time jumper you want to feel safe & see one hell of a view. I got exactly that at Mile-Hi Skydiving with Brian as my instructor! Upon arrival I filled out the standard "won't sue" waiver, paid cash (little cheaper), and waited about 30 minutes before my group loaded a trailer & took a very short bumpy... More

Mile Hi Skydiving offers all us regular people a chance to go skydiving for a reasonable price. For $200, you get to be strapped to a total professional and very nice guy (or gal?) and jump out of a perfectly good airplane. My number 1 bucket list thing is now crossed off my list. Today, John was my tandem, Johnathan... More

I made my sky dive on my 70th birthday. I wanted to do something that would take me out of my comfort zone, and this activity certainly accomplished that goal. The folks at Mile High Skydiving Center were very professional and helpful throughout the entire experience. First off that allowed me to exceed their posted weight limit since I was... More
