Went on line before my trip and found over 200 breweries in Colorado. Whittled it down to 3, and this was 1 of them. To take a free tour you have to book it on line. Emmy was our tour guide and bar waitress. She really knows her stuff and seemed so very proud of her job and of the... More

This is a great brewery. There are spots inside and out. The beers are fantastic. They give you a card describing the beer and it's characteristics every time you order (very helpful! Why don't all breweries do this??). The bathrooms have cool doors with hops, barley, etc., in glass and when I commented on it was told those are actually... More

If you like craft beer and happen to be in Longmont, Left Hand is worth visiting. The tour is free, but you should make a reservation ahead of time as the tour is limited to 10 people. The tasting room offers all the Left Hand brews and you are able to take a pint on the tour. The tasting room... More

One of the early Colorado microbreweries. Great beers including their classic Sawtooth Ale to their cult favorite Milk Stout among many others. Wish they would get a restaurant going there, but you can't have everything.

I am on vacation traveling Colorado and had stopped in to try some beer from LeftHand after having one at a local pub the night before and learning it was close by. I must say, it was phenomenal! All the beer and the atmosphere was great. They have delivery menus in the taproom since it is just that and they... More

Left Hand Brewery is a great way to experience a little taste of Longmont. This inconspicuous microbrewery taps out fresh flavors right at its brewery location so you get a firsthand sip of its liquid creations. My fav' is 'Good Juju', a lighter brew with a hint of ginger. Don't knock it until you try it! Great place to meet... More

We could do without the nasty school marm employee making nasty comments about our little dog which we tied OUT SIDE the fence since this is definitely not dog friendly...They are dog hostile. The other patrons were shocked at this woman's comments. A good study in what happens to a nice brewery when it gets too big...stick with the small... More

Provides a quick tour through their relatively small facilities. The beer on tap is very good, whether you prefer a lighter beer or one of the heavier stouts or Russian imperials (my favorite - a Wake Up Dead Imperial Stout under nitrogen, 10%ABV). The have a number of beer flights available for tasting at relatively low cost ($7 on up).... More

First, a little bit about the build up to this visit: One of the first craft beers I had and liked saw Left Hand's Milk Stout. I later had their Black Jack Porter and loved that beer too. Left Hand's beers were not available in my area until about a week before I visited their brewery. I also follow them... More

My husband was extremely happy with the beer selection! Not much to offer the DD however. A glass of water or pop would have made the experience pleading to both of us.
