Nice park, tiny barn and short train ride

We visited this park to take my boys on the train ride and visit the barn. For the summer 2015 season the fare was $1.75 per person (under two is free). The train ride was short and the petting barn is small (and probably not worth the price). But it was perfect for boys (4 and 1.5 years). The rest... More

Train ride, the "creek", plenty of room to romp & play, and what we fondly call, "The airplane park", with playground equipment. Kids always have fun. But, bring your wallet -- the petting farm isn't cheap for how small it is.

This is an incredible place to bring young kids. There are two separate playground sets, a miniature train you can ride around the park, a petting zoo of farm animals, a 1 ft deep stream for the kids to play in that has been filled with sand for foot comfort, and lots of green grass and shade for a picnic.... This park not only has modern play and picnic areas, but a little stream runs through it that kids love to play in, and in the summer they run a petting zoo and train for a very low price. Parking can get tough on busy days. This is a very busy park for weekend picnics, but a great and affordable... More

And little train ride for the kids.Visited with son's family. Nice playground, and pavillion for some birthday party we saw. Looks like a nice place to hangout and take a dog also,to romp near the foot deep moving creek. Think I saw a swimming pool, which was very crowded. The maybe $2 admission to see some farm animals was not a wallet... More

Although it was scorching hot on the day of our last visit, the immense and plentiful shady trees made it very pleasant. Our grandson enjoyed the train ride and rode it multiple times. The animals on display are NOT worth the admission.

The park is nicely maintained...grass is always cut and trash is always picked up. The ball fields are also in really good condition. There's a big playground for kids too. However, if you are looking to play tennis, these courts are in bad shape. Nets are full of holes, not to the proper tension and don't have the center straps.... More

It is a wonderful park with plenty to do and plenty of space. We have the advantage that it is within walking distance of our home. Our grand-kids love to go here! Well worth the trip! Kids can play in the stream, there are playgrounds, picnic areas, walking and bike paths and huge open spaces. In the summer there is... More

I take my little girls here every summer for the train and the petting zoo. They always have so much fun! When they get a little older we will stay and let them play in the stream.

The train ride and petting zoo are always a hit. But the creek is perfect for wading and crawdad catching. With lots of mature trees to offer shade, many picnic tables and pavilions, a huge playground and lots of grass space for umbrellas and picnic blankets. I did only give it 3 stars this time as the park needed a... More
