Very well done display of lights. A pleasant walk through the gardens with almost every tree wrapped in a plethora of lights of all colors, sizes. Interactive areas for youngsters and adults, warming hut available along the walk. Nice family holiday activity.

It was a cold night, but that wasn't about to stop the fun. It was so beautiful. They had a fire pit set up and they were also selling hot cocoa and candy. They also have a warming hut, which is also, where the kids can do a craft. We also took a hayride. Lots of fun!

I don't have kids, but the Botanic Gardens at Chatfield kind of makes me wish I did. We visited during the pumpkin festival, which involves live music, kids' games, food trucks, and pumpkin picking. The grounds of the gardens are quite nice, with views of mountains all around. There is a small farm area with goats and ponies, nice walking... More

The Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield does not have much to offer through most of the year, but from late-September until the end of October it offers one of the best Corn Mazes in the metro area. The price is high ($10 per adult), but in line with most other mazes in the area. Hints are placed throughout the maze... More

We hosted a memorial service in the old school house at the Chatfield Botanic Gardens for my mother in law who recently passed. The staff was very helpful from booking to set up. The area is gorgeous and well maintained. With lots of separate gardens and walking paths to explore. They also host concerts in the outside amphitheater area during... More

We've been to numerous botanical gardens including the main Denver location which we liked very much. The gardens were small in size and few in number. Maybe we picked a bad time, but it certainly was not worth the trip.

This is a wonderful place to visit any time of the year. We have taken out of town friends here at Christmas time and had "Date night" picnics here as well. Our grandchildren ( boys, age 6 and 2) even love it here! Check the website for special events and sales; they have a great plant sale yearly that is... More

The Chatfield location of Denver Botanic Gardens is not worth a visit unless it is for one of their special events. Their corn maze and pumpkins festival in the fall are tops, otherwise stick to the York location, which is the main one.

They have concerts and Tai Chi in this beautiful surroundings. You will be impressed with the plants. Spend a few hours when it first opens or do an evening concert. This is where you can go to get in touch with your self. Stroll, listen to the music and realize the beauty you are in. Enjoy. I know you will.

I am a member of Denver's botanic gardens which includes the Chatfield location. This is more of a working farm than garden. But they made improvements to the grounds recently and the main parking area and visitor center are nicely landscaped. I visited on a Sunday and it was very quiet. I saw about 8 people and half of them... More
