This is a very nice place to go for a walk. It is particularly nice in the summer and fall. It is also very enjoyable at Christmas to see the light display. There is no place to get any refreshments, so make sure you bring your own...especially on a hot day. Please keep in mind that no dogs are allowed.

We did the corn maze here and checked out the gardens - nothing like downtown, but could be good for someone local. Good for pics. Some activities ongoing. I would not make a special trip here!

Our family of four has enjoyed some wonderful light displays over the years, including Zoo Lights and Blossoms of Light, both of which I would recommend. After those experiences, Trail of Lights was quite a let down. We drove in from the Springs, so it was a time investment, as well as a financial investment at $50. The displays were... More

Great place to visit with family for that annual family photo. The back drops are great and wide open. They take the best care of the grounds here and its a must visit.

Maybe this place is better in spring 'cause there wasn't much happening in December. Nice for a walk around and kids play.

We are so pleased that a little piece of our heritage, and some important open space has been protected by the Denver Botanic Gardens. For some of us, a visit to the Chatfield Gardens will rekindle fond memories of time spent on farms and ranches in our youth, and it's important to me to see the gardens with our children... More

Decided I needed to partake in a proper murican 'fall' activity so got my best navigator hat on and headed to the corn maze. Great activity for all ages - slightly marred by those who would rather trample through the corn walls than walk an extra few feet. Pumpkin patch was pretty much desolate apart from those areas at the... More

The area was large and well lighted with a large tent and plenty of tables and chairs. Food was buffet style and handled with minimum lines. Dancing was provided by a generous dance floor.

A group of four of us visited the gardens for the first time to see Toto and Yes in concert. We arrived early in order to get a good spot of lawn directly behind the walking path, which is basically the front row. There are about 40 feet between the walking path and the stage left open for "dancing." One... More
