I love visiting the Botanical gardens. There is never a time I am not amazed and at peace there. I love the music as you walk down into the first area because sometimes I just sit there for an hour and get caught up in the beauty that is there. Everything from the Roses to the eating areas are wonderful.

Wonderful place to visit in the winter. All of the topiaries lit up, as well as, the grounds - the night we were there it was snowing and was an incredible winter wonderland!

I didn't have too much time to explore since I got there late and there was still lots of snow on the ground but it looks like a great place to come in the spring/summer time. The lady at the welcome center was very informative and nice. I walked around a bit in the snow but didn't get to see... More

I have taken our family to DBG at Chatfield for Halloween's Pumpkin Harvest as well as the Trail of Lights at Christmas-time. It's a very fun, open venue with plenty of room for running! At Halloween time, the grounds feature a large pumpkin patch where you can select the one(s) you want. If you bring your kids in their Halloween... More

The Denver Botanic Gardens seem to be well organized and operated. This area offers some wilder species plus an arbereeum of trees and a popular cornfield where a maze is constructed each fall. Good place for a leisurely hike at the mouth of Deer Creek Canyon.

The best feature of the gardens is really in the fall when the corn maze can be visited and pumpkin patch. The Chatfield location of Denver Botanic Gardens is a tribute to the ranching done along the front range. It is not the same as a blooming garden, but it is very indicative of what you would see in old... More

We walked the gardens with the beautiful lights New Year's week. Gorgeous as usual. Not to be missed. There are more lights every year. The gift shop was a fairyland.

The Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield is located to the Southwest of Denver. It is a large park that is geared more to the local botanical plants. There are some older structures to explore, and is well known in the area for a corn maze in the fall.

Now, don't expect a botanic garden! There are manicured areas near the new entrance pavilion which will be stunning next spring, but other than that, you get a very leisurely feeling walking along the meandering paths under native trees and over bridges crossing soothing streams. It really is a magical place! Don't miss visiting the barn where there are goats,... More

This venue consists of beautiful, well-kept gardens in a natural setting. Great site for weddings, too.
