This is a sweet gem of an historical museum. It's right in the middle of the Littleton suburbs, but you'd swear you were in the country in the late 1800s. Very hands on, lots of farm animals, helpful volunteers. A favorite place for local artists to go and set up their easels.

It's a free museum which is really a working farm that is great fun to walk around with the kids. Usually it's not too crowded and it's an easy place to spend a few hours. Take a picnic and eat across the street at Gallup Park.

This little gem is absolutely wonderful for families or anyone looking for a nice day out. The museum is free, and in the summer has free concerts once a week in the evening. The museum gives people an idea about what Colorado looked like not too long ago. The farm is great with lots of animals for the kids to... More

A walk through this little farm is pure bliss. You will return to life in Colorado in the 1860's and the 1890's. You may see Matilda the pig or a brand new set of baby lambs becaus this is a working farm. The blacksmith may be working or volunteers cooking an authentic pioneer meal. This makes for a wonderful family... More

We love the Littleton Museum! It's huge, it's kid friendly and it's entertaining. The kids love to watch the animals and it's even more exciting if the volunteers are out in their historic costumes working the farms...feeding the animals, working in the blacksmith shop, working in the kitchens, etc. It's fun to be able to take the kids "back in... There are animals here to see, history as well. Nice place in the middle of suburbia. They host an awesome craft fair on the grounds in Oct. of every year.

Really enjoyed taking our very young grandsons to visit "the farm". They enjoyed seeing all the animals and making their noises, seeing all the old fashion tools and going inside the log cabin climbing the stair and seeing where the people slept. Our little boys liked turning the whet stone and learning it was to sharpen the farm tools and... More

The farm on the museum grounds are wonderful. The farmhouse is from the turn of the century and furnished how a real farm house would be like in that time period. The farm animals are varied . This is a great experience for children and people who have never been to a farm or ranch.

A lot of historical displays. A working farm from the early 20th century with farm animals, farm house, old schooland blacksmith shop. Worth a visit.
