The day we were there, a new lamb was just an hour old. We were able to see the "running of the sheep" as the went to their barn for the eve. It is a working museum where you can experience real life of times past More

So much more than one expects. Love all the buildings and history. Nice for a quick unique thing to do when you don't have enough time to get all the way to our wonderful mountains. More

This is a cute museum. I learned some things about Littleton and the Main St area. I think it adds to the historic feel of that neighborhood. More

I take my kids to this museum several times a year. We go to see the baby lambs in the spring until the pumpkin harvest in the fall. There are many scheduled activities on Saturdays that revolve around Pioneer life such as making apple butter or watching an iron smith at work in his forge. The location of the Museum... More

This is a great place to bring young kids who you want to introduce to farm animals which wander the grounds. My grandkids chased chickens and petted sheep, goats, cows and horses. There is a working blacksmith shop and a restored 1830 farm house - the kids will be amazed how small it is. More

Something for everyone! Learn the history of Littleton in a hands-on-way. My 3 young children LOVE this museum. We always hit the indoor section first which includes a pioneer kitchen where they can "bake" bread. The acres of outdoor buildings and gardens are always fascinating but their favorite has to be the pig and donkey. And best of all it... More

The history, art and culture of Littleton is lovingly displayed with great care at the Littleton Historical Museum. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the whimsical diversity of the museum displays (including a wonderful interactive area for kids) as well as the TWO living history farms - complete with endearing barn cats who often accompany you as you stroll the... This museum offers both a traditional indoor museum, as well as an outdoor immersion experience. There are two living farms on the property: one from the late 1800's and the other from the early 1900s. Both have staff dressed the period and working the farms. There are animals to pet and buildings to explore. Kids love this place! Great way... More
