This is one of the best run operations you will encounter. Extremely professional, experienced and safety-oriented raft guides make a descent down the Poudre with WanderLust a highly rewarding experience. These people care about providing a great time, building some team work with your fellow rafters, and making sure -- without being scary or being obsessive -- that everyone is... More

We took our first whitewater rafting trip on 8/7 with Wanderlust; we did the 1/2 day "Taste of Whitewater" trip because that's all that was being offered at the time due to the drought. The water was low, the forest was charred, but they did everthing to make sure that we had a great time anyway. Our guide, Lucas, was... More

Really enjoyed this rafting adventure. Went late in season (August) so water was low and rapids were calm. Still a lot of fun. Got to do two runs on the river. Nicely equiped with clean bathroom, changing rooms and small gift shop. Bring a change of clothes but leave everything in your car. Water is cold so bring something warm... More

Went solo on the shorter 1/2 day trip and found the entire staff to be serious about safety first which is really important with this type of activity. There were people of all skill levels but mostly of nearly no skill level or experience on this trip. The staff did an awesome job directing the tourist (myself included) to helping... More

My family (husband, me, 11 year old son) did the Taste half day trip in July. We traveled from Estes Park, which is about a 90 minute drive. Mother nature had not cooperated, so the river was not in ideal conditions (forest fires, drought, etc). It was very low and murky with ash and soot from the fires. With all... More

Went rafting with my sister's family and two nieces (9yrs and 7yrs) and Lucas made sure the girls were safe and had fun. Thank you for a great trip even with charcoal filled water. :)

All I have to say is that Dan, our "tour guide"/awesome rafter was great and made us feel very welcome. Sadly we were originally planned for lvl 3 and 4 rapids but because of the low water they were 2 and 3s. With Dan though he made it fun and also made it personable. He even allowed us to "surf"... The guys and gals at Wanderlust are truly professionals and know what they are doing. Despite the fact that the water levels were low and the trip we planned was not available (due to the drought and recent fire activity) they turned a tricky and very technical ride through a lot of rocks into a fun and adventurous trip for... We took the Taste Trip which was an excellent introduction to white water rafting. Our guide Gregg was great! We had fun and felt completely safe. We can't wait to try the Blast Trip next!

What a great time! This was the first raft trip for myself, husband and 9 yr old. The staff was awesome and the weather was perfect. Our guide was Derrick who was wonderful with our daughter. He made her part of the "action" even though she was stuck in the middle and not able to paddle. She man'ed the water... More
