A Bay is very beautiful - but it is a technically difficult ski. This resort is only a few miles from Keystone - and unless you are a very good skier - stop at Keystone and ski there.

Beautiful drive. Must see while in the area. The views are beautiful. Make sure you go on a sunny day to enjoy the views of the mountains and ski area.

A Basin is a wonderful little mountain that is tucked away between Keystone and Loveland. This is not a place that you want to go to if you are trying to learn to ski, but expert and intermediate level skiers will love it. This is where the locals go, as there is no where to stay close by. If you... More

Even on what could've been a crowded weekend it didn't feel crowded and slopes were well-maintained. It was really cool that one could hang out near the slopes in a tailgate kind of format!

After a week at vail we needed a break! A basin is high into loveland pass and above the tree lines for that open bowl feeling For the double black crowd there is plenty to do and I was worried about the blue run skiers hearing that is is very hard there Not true Anyone can ski there and have... I ski CO almost every year and have always tended toward the resorts with Steamboat and Breck being my favorites. Because of some limited time this year, I took a look at some other more "local" places to the Denver area and stumbled on A-Basin. The trail map looked pretty good but the price was unbeatable. $120+ for Breck and... More

My wife and son had half day snowboarding lessons scheduled; the check-in process was simple, the instructors were amazing; the entire ski resort was positively delightful to work with. My son loved his instructor (Lauren H.) so much that he switched from the half day lesson to the full day lesson. This is day 3 of snowboarding for the entire... More

My first visit to Arapahoe Basin was also my first time skiing. Overall, it was a great experience. My sister and I opted for the Adult Beginners class. To be honest, I didn't feel like it was really necessary or helpful. It was a very basic 2.5 hour class and all we did was slide down the kid's slope (all... More

My second visit to Aarapahoe Basin . I Really enjoy the wide. fast, high speed cruisers and bowls that you can choose your own line. Also a very laid back vibe, where the skiing is great and challenging. The mountain is old school and retro with a that is both gnarly and chill at a high altitude !! The lift... More
