One of the best vacations we have ever taken! Staffers are extremely helpful and friendly at A-Basin and the ski lessons were a tremendous help. Our family of four had a great ski vacation and it was our first time seeing snow!

I haven't skied A-Basin for about 20 years, but still as much fun. This is much more of a classic mountain with the focus on the skiing. The view can't be beat (the altitude is intimidating) with the front side just a whole bunch of fun and the back very challenging. Not much powder due to snow fall, but still... More

Do you have a happy place? Mine used to be the beaches of Maui - that helped me get through the birth of my child. Now it's A-Basin. Recalling the euphoria of riding the powder through the Montezuma Bowl helps me get through any pain or challenges of life. A-Basin stands out as the best place I've ever snowboarded because... We go to Colorado every year, and this is the first time we have gone through Loveland Pass, do this, you won't regret it. These are the best views around, and you can walk very high along the ridge, don't miss the opportunity to see the sights and take your camera and walk up as far as you can. You... More

This has to be Colorado's Best Kept Secret! A-Basin Ski School was amazing! I highly recommend it. We went for Easter 2015 (but I hear you can ski well into the summer because there's always snow as high up as A-Basin is). The Ski School is definitely the best and it lived up to all the reviews I've read. My... More

It is always a great day when you can ski in May!!! We were there May 9th. It had been raining so much in the springs we thought lets go hit the slopes. We had a good 6 hours of sunshine. Enjoyed the powder!!!

We cycled up Love Land pass one day, stopped in at A Basin for a quick bathroom stop and refuel. Later in the day we headed back to a beer festival they were having! Super fun to see people skiing down right to the beer fest. Then the following day we went back for some Spring skiing. Because of some... More

I do not ski (I am from the deep South). However, I am familiar with the ski resorts located within 60-150 miles from Denver. Vail Awesome! Steamboat Springs Awesome! Beaver Creek Awesome! Copper Mountain Awesome! Breckenridge Awesome!. Yet, lots of people keep saying "A-Basin". I figured it was because it was the cheapest to ski there and closest to Denver.... More

I was at a conference in Denver this week. I knew the conference was coming up & I knew that I had a chance of skiing here, if weather satisfactory. Sure enough, it worked out good. I skied here for the last 2 days. Firstly, the location is truly beautiful. Secondly, staff were pleasant & helpful. Thirdly, a very good... More
