Spent two days skiing with my kids and grands. The slopes are well groomed and the personnel are very helpful. The make the best bloody Mary's and on the weekends even have an oyster bar. The food and drinks are yummy. They have a great selection of beer on draft! We had a super awesome time here.

One of my favorite places to ski. It's much cheaper than anywhere else (lift ticket, food, beer, etc). It's typically more of a locals resort so you're not dealing with out of control skiers and other crazy stuff that you might find at larger resorts. The terrain is challenging and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a beginner since there... More

Fun place - low key and staff were great and helpful. Restaurant service at 64th Alley Bar & Grill was excellent. Groomed runs!!!

Simple fine terrain great snow because its higher than keystone, lacks the keystone crowds and nearly half the price. Staff was great. No frills watering hole top of lift with great bbq and beer on tap, watering hole at the base with lots on tap and just ski or ride your day away. I hope they don't change this into... More

It was our first time to go A-basin and we put our son in snowboarding school, he was the only one and got one on one training for $129! It was awesome! We put him in snowboarding school in keystone and he's in a group with 10 other kids and we paid $220! Needless to say A-basin was totally worth... More

After a twenty year hiatus, our family of four returned for eight days to sample local ski areas: A-Basin, Loveland, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain..A-Basin is still as good as we remembered. Parking (free) is convenient to the base lodge and ticket office. Lines for tickets and lifts were universally short. The mountain (both bowls) and the snow were excellent despite... More

We skied Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin in February 2015. All three hills are 5 star in my opinion, but A-Basin was my overall favourite. What set this place apart is the laid back vibe, total lack of crowds, breathtaking views, challenging terrain and amazing conditions First off, this is a pure ski hill and not a resort. There is... We visited Arapahoe for the first time this trip to Keystone. It is the only mountain not owned by Vail Resorts in this area. Therefore we were told by a local it is extremely popular because it's the "cheapest". A three day pass is $140, and the restaurant off the Black Bear Lift was awesome! Fresh smoked BBQ and very... I had not been skiing in over 37 years and so I was fearful and hesitant when I arrived at A-Basin but still ready for the challenge. However, after one bunny hill trial, I was up the mountain and even attempted the Zuma Bowl (which I wasn't really ready for but all other runs were amazing and beautiful). There were... More

I liked the 'no frills' atmosphere here. Lots of friends recommended going here, so we managed to get a half day in before flying out. Lift pass for full day was a little pricier - i felt that Loveland had much better value ($51 vs $85), but I'd go back when the price is a little lower. We got great... More
