Spring skiing at its best

Snow was perfect. It did snow, sun was out, skiing in shorts, what else do we need? 2 of 7 day lift purchase for 79 bux! The guys in the rental shop were the best. We rented for... read more

Snow was perfect. It did snow, sun was out, skiing in shorts, what else do we need? 2 of 7 day lift purchase for 79 bux! The guys in the rental shop were the best. We rented for 2 days, but one of received the "altitude sickness" so we could not go on the second day, and they refunded us... More

Skied here one day in Jan of 2014. It is exactly as described online and by other reviewers. What I liked most was the small resort feel. Even though they have 1000 acres of ski terrain. Employees were friendly from ticket window to lift attendants. Don't expect the luxuries of Vail, but get ready for some of the best steep... More

My adult son and I had a great time today at A-Basin. Great May weather ski/snowboarding day in the 30s, decent price $55 purchased on line the day before, friendly and helpful staff, lodge, restaurants, cafe, store, and bathrooms were about a B/B- (dated), and they had good, strong wifi!

A Basin is basic, skiing - no frills, but you bang for your buck at A basin. Book on-line at least a day prior and your $85 dollar ticket could be as low as $55. When you drive 10 minutes down the road to any other ski resort, the ticket could be $120. If you need a day of less... More

Went here for the first time this last weekend. I classify myself as a very intermediate skier who can handle greens with ease and can manage most blues I have come across. This mountain was entirely different though. The "easiest" blue seemed to be quite difficult compared to others I've encountered in the past, and I didn't feel comfortable on... More

Truly my favorite mountain in Colorado. Amazing snow , long runs, 4 star food mid mountain, and new kids center. This is still my go to every year for spring skiing. The only area they need improvement is in the attitude of their staff. The staff in the kids center act as if their doing me a favor and are... More

In addition to our Loveland ski trip we decided to ski in ABASIN. Since we took our lessons in loveland we decided to ski on our own in ABASIN. We got lift tickets for all the kids and they had access to all the lifts. For my wife and I we bought lift tickets for the bunny slopes which were... More

Awesome trip to A Basin!! Very laid back. Great spots at base and super mid mountain grill! Love back bowl and east wall. Great time. Will be back.

We have been skiing and boarding in the area. We decided to try A basin. The views are beautiful and the resort has a laid back feel that is nice. But the lines were quite long even though there wasn't a lot of people because there aren't very main lifts. the lifts are slow. The runs are short overall. The... More
