First off the helmet, wetsuit, life vest and splash jacket are included. The neoprene booties are $3 extra and WELL worth it because the water is really cold. Second, I recommend not wearing a hat with a bill under your helmet because if you go for a swim it can obstruct your view fairly quick. Waterproof sunscreen is a great... More

We've done rafting trips in a number of locations both in the U.S. and overseas. Clear Creek is definately one of the most professional outfits out there. We cannot wait to return for another adventure this coming summer season. We visited late in the year so the full-day trip was no longer available as water levels were too low. However,... More

My husband, a friend and I did this trip back in 2013. It was so amazing! I was extremely nervous, especially since the other rafts had 7 or 8 people and ours only the 4 of us (including our guide)...but our guide was awesome and eased my worries. We were originally going to do the beginners trip, but decided to... More

We did the trip at a peak water level which was the end of July. It was a little higher skill level than what we thought we would do but it was so worth it. The guides were very good and took their job very seriously. It was scary at times and we had a little tough time keeping up... More

This was my first time rafting it was very late in the season so the water was low but we still had a great time. The guides were wonderful and very friendly. Because the water was low we were even allowed to jump in the water which was around 50 degrees but it was fun and worth it. We are... More

This was a great company to go with for our 1/2 day rafting trip down the royal gorge. Good price and very friendly people. Our guide was great at leading us down the river, giving us fun facts about the area, and making our trip enjoyable. I would recommend this place to all looking for a good rafting trip!

Jumping in the COLD water was a blast... It is super close to Denver and the water was great. However,... More

We did the intermediate trip and our guide Herman (Argentinian) was experienced and made good conversation as we coasted along the river. We were given clear instructions as we rated along and felt safe the whole time. The views along the way are spectacular and they even provide a free cd of pictures. I definitely recommend them if you are... More

If you are looking for 3 hours of fun white water rafting take the 30 minute drive from Denver to Idaho Springs and the Clear Creek White Water Rafting Company. We did the beginners trip and even though the river was low there was still plenty of fast moving water to make the trip very enjoyable. The staff was very... More
