I have always wanted to go whitewater rafting and it was the best above and beyond what I expected! The staff was awesome and explained every minute detail about what to do and what to expect. They provided all the equipment including the wet suits. They run rain or shine. Our guide, Sarah was super enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all... More

We were a group of 8 including 4 kids, ages 7-11. This was the first time zipping for all of the children and two of the adults. What an experience! Out ziplining guide, Brandon, was tremendous! Lots of experience, very personable and made the kids (and adults) feel safe and secure. Lindsay was our rafting guide. Again, this was the... More

The pre wait was an hour, they kept telling us they were excellent on River technics but poor on logistics! It was a loooong wait but all forgotten once you kicked off the bank! Class 4 rapids didn't disappoint and the little extra jump in and current float was awesome!

First time zip lining. I did a lot of asking around and review searching and this one lived up to the hype. We were driven up the mountain to do 6 zip lines n 2 bonus obstacles. Gail and mike, a married couple, were our guides and were very fun and pleasant in answering lots of questions n happy to... More

We had a group of 6 looking to do the zipline, ages ranging from 10 upwards into our 40's. There is another zipline in town, but this one seemed to be the one to try. The cost was reasonable considering it was a half-day adventure including a half dozen lines and a few new obstacles. The guides were fun and... More

I had the great pleasure of white water rafting twice, in a week, with AVA. My guide, both times, was Shane and he was a rock star. We did Class IV and V rapids one day and Class II rapids with the family another day. Shane was the conductor of the orchestra, man!. I would go with Shane and AVA... More

This was our second time rafting with AVA. Today's trip was way better than last year because of the water conditions. The snowpack this year was much better and thus, gave us much better conditions. We did the lower canyon advanced 1/2 day trip. We had no problems checking in. In fact, all but one in our group of six... More

My two teens and I had a great Intermediate Rafting trip! Our guide was a total kick and very knowledgeable about the river and area. Everyone at AVA was friendly. We've zip lined there too and had a great experience.

Going in the early morning trip served us well as thing a were not crowded at the outpost, in the water, or on the bus trip back. The hour and a half trip was perfect for our adventurous six and seven year olds. Literally giggled and laughed the entire float. We bought neoprene water socks at the store (which were... More

I cannot say enough about AVA and our boat guides Randy and Liz who made our rafting trip exciting and fun. The entire staff at AVA was professional and very helpful getting us signed up and outfitted for the trip down the Arkansas River. We did the Browns Canyon Sizzler trip and it was perfect for our group including 6... More
