A little off the beaten path. Nineteen different temperature pools of various sizes, some under canopies, plenty of places to relax, which really is what it is about. Even a small restaurant and a lodge.

The ancient natural spring is magnificent, and I would strongly recommend the original site, the Ute pool, named after a local Native American regional tribe. The resort and use of sulphur waters here, by European American visitors, began in 1864. The elements in the water truly are therapeutic; my skin and hair were like silk for 24 hours afterward, as... A mere 30 minutes west of Winter Park Colorado, this Hot Springs boasts 24 different pools. These range in temperature from a swimming pool at 78-82 degrees F. to numerous other Hot Pools ranging from 98- 112 Degrees F. These are all natural with no chemicals added or filtering. There is a very mild sulphur smell but definitely not overpowering.... More

It was a bit pricey for a place that could use a face lift. There are I think 24 pools, most of them only have room for 1-2 people. The only thing that I really enjoyed was the feeling of the water that was full of natural minerals (no chlorination). We went to another place the day before and it... More

The spa is a collection of 19 mineral water pools of different temperatures. The spa is small and was quiet at night, and so relaxing.

I did not stay at the resort based on reviews I read before my trip indicating the staff was not friendly. I stayed at a nearby motel and purchased a pass for the sulphur hot springs at this location. It was hard to determine if the structures around the pools were falling down or being repaired - there seemed to... More

This place is very old-timey, but is good for adults who like hot springs. They've got a couple dozen pools (although most of them are tiny) in a nice, mostly-outdoor setting. There's stuff floating in the water (it's apparently a white sulfur compound) that might freak some people out, but it's harmless and kind of adds to the charm. I... More

5 of us on a girls trip spent a day here and all had a fabulous time. 2 of us had 90 minutes massages with Scott, the other 3 had citrus scrubs and body wraps with Tom. All of us spent time soaking in the many hot springs and enjoying a wonderfully relaxing day. Thanks to Samantha for getting us... More

I went there at least once a year. Not crowd at all. They have a lot of different pools. I can always find a private pool. Definitely worth your money. I enjoy soaking in the snow outdoor. Summer time is also great! From Denver, drive via us 9 is safer if snowing. Us40 near winter park is very windy.

We wanted to check out a hot springs that we hadn't been to yet, so we looked this one up. From the pictures, the pool with the slide led us to believe it was a family friendly environment. NOT SO. The only pool that kids could actually swim in was COLD. Way too cold to spend any time in, and... More
