The convenient location just off I-70 has a gorgeous view in any direction. It is large enough to get enough exercise walking or jogging. There is a gravel walking path along the concrete sidewalk. Unfortunately, it is not maintained and needs more gravel in places, so it is muddy when it rains or the sprinklers are watering the grass. The... More

This park has an updated children's play area for all ages with some wonderful, creative new equipment, a lovely lake to walk (friendly, leashed dogs are fine) with lots of visiting ducks, Much land is available for soccer and other field activities. A marshy low-lying stream brings in birds, as well.

I babysit kids often and love to cone here with them, the volleyball net is great too and batting cages, its all amazing. After they upgraded the playground they really really made this a great place to take the kiddos. Would definitely recommend this park to anyone :)

The park boasts of well-maintained athletic fields for baseball, football, softball and soccer. There is a nice lake and a view of the mesa in the distance that provides a relaxing interlude from the bustle of Grand Junction and with easy access from I-70 visitors, passers through and local alike can enjoy a nice relaxing stroll, watch or participate in... A huge Sports park just off of I-70 in Grand Junction. Offering baseball and softball fields, football and soccer fields, tennis courts, dog runs, hand ball courts, fishing and more. Very well maintained and continues to grow.

Nice place to have an event.... A little pricey... We booked the entire main shelter.... Had to ask many people to leave... Maybe need to put up signage that the area was reserved from this time to that time, so other visitors know.

Perhaps the best all-around playground my children have ever experienced. Pavilion, restrooms, shaded play, pond, and more. Enough to keep the kids (2-12) having fun for hours.

I remember many great times in my childhood here. What the city has done with the recent renovation money is incredible. This park is completely changed for the better. Aside from the numerous soccer, baseball and football fields, the main playground area has three new sections for different audiences: smaller kids, more grown kids, and young adult/adults. A lot of... More
