When you walk into Whitewater Hill the first thing that hits you are the aromas of a working winery. Oak wood, grapes, must, and earth... an oenophile's favorite combination. The complementary tasting was poured by a very knowledgeable and personable staffer who made appropriate recommendations, and who truly loves his craft. These are world-class wines that have been allowed to... More

This fine winery, is located atop a slight hill, boasting one of the best panoramic backdrops of the Bookcliff's and Mount Garfield off in the distance, that the areas has to offer. Their tasting area takes advantage of their location, by having glass windows, that allow you to take in this fantastic view, as you enjoy their many fine selections... More

Random visit drawn in by sign on road. So glad we stopped! We were treated to free samples with friendly suggestions for purchasing without high pressure. Great local wine!

The ladies serving wine were very friendly and great at explaining the different wines they had to offer. Not a huge variety, several wines were different variations of the same base and a few blends.

Nice winery with a friendly staff. They also have a nice selection of t-shirts and a few gift items. My favorite was the select Chardonnay even though I usually prefer red wines. Great location with a beautiful view.

We were pleased with our visit. The lady behind the counter was not one of the owners, but was super friendly and fun to talk to. She loves their wines! They had one of the better offerings of stuff to buy and had turned a warehouse building into a cute tasting room. The wines were decent and fairly priced. We'll... More

The owner is very pleasant and very friendly. She goes out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable about the wine tasting experience. There's a wine for everyone's taste here

I had an average experience here. It wasn't bad, but it doesn't stand out amongst my memories of Palisade. I would probably go again though. The wine was nice.

Whitewater Hill has been a sponsor at an event we had attended several years ago. So, when my son and his significant suggested a wine tour, I was hoping they would ask to stop here. I was thrilled to see that they had other wine related items to buy, and were very knowledgeable. I did buy the dessert wine to... More

Nice setup, friendly staff and very decent wines, especially the dry reds. Even full bodied cab franc. A must stop in the area
