The drive up was truly beautiful, the staff very helpful and friendly ( tho we did have to wait a l-o-n-g time in line to sign him up for ski school), the mountain well groomed and trails well marked.... I was eleven when I first came here to ski and it was the first time I tried skiing... I had a really nice ski instructor who was patient and very friendly, the staff was very kind as well and I came back this year and its definitely worth it. I'd come back to ski every time if I could.

What a great resort! We skied here with our 6 and 8 year olds and loved every minute of it. The terrain is great, with great challenging runs when one of the parents went off on our own. Powederhorn is what a ski resort should be - dedicated to skiing, with just the right amenities. We loved eating lunch out... More

My wife and I love going here. The new lift is great! We have already been twice this year and we don't have a pass.

This was my first time skiing. I took lessons. The instructor was very good. Had a lot a patience for the uncoordinated (aka, me!). I took 4hrs lesson while my husband and nephew hit the slopes. This has great beginners slopes. The only thing is that I paid for 4hrs lesson and most people paid for 2 and they can... More

Now with the high speed quad "Flat Top Flyer" (yeah, I know, goofy name), it's a hidden gem of a ski place

This resort provides fully furnished condos and complete kitchens. Comfortable beds, free WI-FI, and the National Forest access is just up the road. We fished and hiked and enjoyed the Colorado outdoors.

Joined friends at Powderhorn Ski Resort who decided to use their RCI week here in early Sept. We have joined them for other timeshare weeks and have found the properties much, much better. In early Sept., the restaurant is only open on the weekends which means you better show up well stocked with groceries as the ride into Palisade, the... More
