This is a family run place, and the people are friendly and knowledgeable. Before you hit Winter Park (which is a great ski resort), consider Granby if in the area. No crowds.

Granby was a great place to visit, I'm not a complainer so i wont complain, but one thing i did have a problem with was there wasn't much to do the time i was there (thanksgiving week). But thats okay because my father and i still visited a ton of places near by and got to spend a day in... More

It was suggested to stay here by one of my better friends who owns/used to own a condo here. I was looking to take a long (6 day) weekend trip to go skiing with my girlfriend and 5 other friends. There was 7 of us in all (3 couples and a single) and we were able to rent a 3... More

We rode up and hiked around for free. Beautiful views. Friendly staff. In the bike shop they even wanted to help us get familiar with the area and had local brochures and advice. Available Wed-Sun in the summer, I think. I wanted to spend even more time there at their restaurant and thought it would be a great place to... More

We got a timeshare unit here (1 bedroom) was very nice and comfortable- our unit even had its own indoor jacuzzi. We were able to use this place as our base to easily travel about north to explore the Rocky Mtns, or go south to go river rafting, cross country bike biking, train riding, and just plain relaxing for the... There was a miscommunication with our reservations renting mountain bikes for our family of five for the day. The manager and the two bike techs went above and beyond to make sure we were outfitted with gear even though they were out of their regular rental bikes. We ended up with the top of the line bikes at the same... More

Great rates on lift passes and they offer couple days free during the week. Trails are fun but quick to descend down the mountain. Trails dnt have as much flow and have some rough spots. Good place to visit and get prepped for downhill mountain biking.

We went this spring for a week. Our 4 year old twins were able go to ski school. The instructors were amazing. Our boys had a blast and learned how to ski. All three lifts come down to one central area that allowed me to ski the larger slopes and still check on my wife and kids every few minutes.... More

We saw a sign that said free chairlift rides at Granby Ranch. We thought it might be one of those where you have to listen to a presentation before you could ride, but we were pleasantly surprised that it really was free with no strings attached. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The views from the top were gorgeous.... More

Took my son downhilling for the first time in his life. He loved it (although he did some over the handlebar wipe outs). The price is a little high, but we also rented bikes with kits and lift tickets and insurance. It was worth it to me, but if you have your own gear, lift tickets are super reasonable. The... More
