A great place to spend the day with your family. Purchase a day pass and the ranch is your oyster. Cross country skiing trails are plentiful and the employees in the Nordic center are extremely helpful. Tubing hill is fun. There is not a magic carpet that takes you back to the top of hill so be prepared to get... More

Winter vacation wonderland! Snow Mt YMCA ranch has surprising accommodations for the whole family or when traveling alone. I stayed at the Indian Peaks lodge which provided a large room w two queen beds, microwave and fridge. No TV in room but there is a TV in the lobby. We spent most of the day outdoors, cross country skiing on... More

We stayed in the Granby area and chose to get a day pass at the YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch location. We really wanted our children to go tubing and everyone talks of the hill in Frasier, but its much more expensive (just to tube) and we have a 5 yr old in tow (as well as an 8yr old) and... More

Fun place for the family! My kids really enjoyed the ice skating and the tubing. They thought that the dining hall was fun.

We went to snow mountain for a trail ride, whilst we are experienced riders it was probably a bit slow for us, but given that they cater predominately for beginner or first time riders the pace would very well suit. Horses are quiet and well trained to follow along

We spent the afternoon and evening at the Ranch. We took a sleigh ride at Sombrero Stables (on premise, but not part of the YMCA; reviewed elsewhere) and then did some crafts in the workshop. We opted to not purchase a day pass to participate in other activities. The art workshop had very friendly and helpful staff. However, I did... More

Went here today for the tubing and ice skating. It is in a lovely setting..some would say a winter wonderland. There are other winter activities that we saw but did not partake. Food was canteen style and somewhat limited but they had very reasonable prices. Nice to get out of the cold for a hot chocolate. I would return.

So much to do! This is our first time at the Granby location - came here because of all the great winter activities - tubing, ice skating, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, etc. We are a group of 10 ages 6-78 and there was something for everyone. We stayed at cabin 25 which was great for us. Looking out most... More

Snow Mountain Ranch was a place from my childhood so when I had the opportunity to visit as an adult, for a conference, I was excited to say the least. Our lodging was at the Indian Peaks Lodge, which we found to be surprisingly comfortable and clean for modest accommodations. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets.... More
