My wife and I took our 4 year old son and 9 month old daughter on a Thursday. Despite not staying there, we were able to ride horses, go tubing, play putt putt, and roller skate for a very fair price. The staff couldn't have been nicer and the kids couldn't have slept better that night! Thank you YMCA!

Reserve your activities BEFORE you get there. They book up fast. Most activities cost extra, and it adds up quickly. We found ourselves Off-Property most of the time, because the activities that my teenagers were interested in were booked up, so we went elsewhere to do things. Winter Park is about 20 minutes away and there is a lot to... More

From hiking, horseback riding, tennis courts, indoor pool, you name it, you can probably do it at the YMCA of the Rockies. The only negative was that some of the lodging/cabins are starting to show some wear from the outside and need a little sprucing up but other than that great place for the family

Wonderful family oriented vacation spot high in the Rockies with spectacular views. Fun activities for all ages. Our family can't wait until next July when we hope to go again.

This place was great! We attended recently for a large family reunion, and it was MOST accomodating! We have previously been to the YMCA in Estes Park, and liked this place much better. It feels much more open, and allowed our family to be in the same accomdations (lodge). There is SO much to do here - horseback riding, swimming,... More

We visited for four nights in late March and were completely impressed with Snow Mountain Ranch. We stayed in the cabins. We chose SMR because it is dog friendly and close to Granby Ranch and Winter Park for our daughter to snowboard. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The cabin was spacious, comfortable and had a terrific view. The... More

This place is an amazing getaway. It has a wide variety of activities from horse back riding to zip lining. Hiking, swimming, arts and crafts to archery. It caters to everyone. There is a mess hall in the middle of the resort for your dining pleasure. As I said before it caters to everyone from the novice camper to the... More

This is a huge facility providing visitors with breath taking vistas and lots of family activities. A vacation here would be unforgettable. The people working at the Ranch are all very accommodating too.

We purchased a day pass during our ski vacation. For $ 20 adult (less for children) per day you have use of the entire facility! We used the ice skating rink (skate rental is included in the daily fee), did tubing (good, smaller hill for young children), and visited the stables. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. You will... More
