Currently, the traveling Chihuly glass exhibit is here at Foothills Art Center on Washington Street and it is fabulous. When you go, get a docent to tell you how the pieces arrived and how they were assembled - it will add to your appreciation of the show as well as deepen your knowledge about handblown glass. More

We were excited to see the Art Center but discovered it is closed for a while. I believe the sign said December 22 to February 26. Very disappointed as it sounds wonderful. That's why I gave it an excellent...on hearsay. I just wanted to get the review out there to let travelers know. More

Every December Foothills has an indoor Art Market. They always have a huge variety of things from art glass to wood to jewelry to even handmade clothing. Prices vary from a couple of bucks to a couple of thousand, I love glass art. This year there were some beautiful very affordable pieces. ($150.ish).. Enjoy. More
