Great exhibit. I wouldn't go to Golden just for this, but it was certainly worth the stop. Many iconic Adams photos to see. And a lovely building for the Art Center.

This is a smaller gallery space in a repurposed church that provides a nice backdrop for the exhibits. They've had excellent shows over the last couple of years in a variety of media (paintings, photos, glass, and books as art to name a few.) The annual watercolor show is a standout, and the current Ansel Adams exhibit that includes work... More

They have many small rooms filled with local artisan works for purchase. In the summer they have workshops for kids.

This small art gallery offers various exhibits during the year , some special events such as the current Ansel Adams exhibit and some annual features like a watercolor and sculpture exhibits. The gallery is all on one floor with easy access from one room to another. It is rarely crowded, and one can see an entire exhibit in a short... More

We heard about this from a friend and then up popped a GroupOn so we went to the last day of the glass exhibit. Never knew this place existed. A small church has been converted to a museum and the current exhibit is from a number of glass collections of various styles. It was very educational and some of the... More

We went because I purchased a groupon and I'm so glad I did. The glass exhibit is just about to leave and I'm a huge art glass fan so I was so happy to see these beautiful pieces. Yes the exhibit is on the smaller side but I love that I can get up close and study the details. The... More

Very cute art center with a nice variety of art. It's a great way to spend an hour while wondering around Golden. Great finds in the gift shop, too.

We love this art center in an historic building in Golden. There are several exhibits throughout the year and a great holiday art/craft show from Thanksgiving through the end of the year. We always find great and unique Christmas gifts, from fiber creations to jewelry and blown glass Christmas decorations.
