If you are looking for real good scenic views keep going past this place. The trees and antennas obscure most things. The mansion and nature center were closed when I got there but there were trails to walk and some people biking

Thank you Eric for your review. We agree that it's a little tougher to get the 360' scenic vista at our nature center. There are, however, several spots that we suggest visitors stop to get the good scenic views. First, you can hike out on our meadow loop trail. It crosses a saddle in the landscape that affords you views... More

We enjoyed the nature center and the short hiking trails they have. We enjoyed walking around and taking pictures of the area. There is also a great lookout right across from the gate entrance to the nature center. Don't miss it!

Thank you for visiting LMNC! It sounds like you had a wonderful trip to our nature center and preserve. You also know the "secret" lookout spot now. Thanks for sharing with everyone :) There's also a great vantage point out on the meadow loop trail with views of the city and the mountains. More

Fabulous views of Denver, Golden and beyond. Great ride on a motorcycle with many switch backs, and windy roads. If riding, go early or be prepared to follow those who want to go very slow.

It sounds like you took the "road-less-traveled" up the Lariat Trail on Lookout Mountain. We agree that there are fabulous views of the city from that vantage point. We think going slow let's you take in all the views even more! Stop in sometime and we'll show you around the nature center. More

We absolutely loved seeing all the pictures in the picture album of the local animals that visit nearby and also watching the slideshow on the TV. The displays of the animals are so real and a great hands on learning experience. The gentleman that was working was great to talk to and had so much information. I had a friend... More

We spent a lot longer than expected up at the sight because it was just fabulous as a lookout but also there are very short walks to take around and it was very nicely kept. We popped in the centre for a bit but honestly preferred being outside.

The animals in the nature center were displayed in a very natural setting. They have cameras that have recorded pictures of the wildlife in the park and the pictures are played in a slideshow. We found that interesting to watch.

This is a very nice nature center with trails that are great for seeing a variety of wildflowers, with some decent views of Denver down below. Our 5 year old daughter enjoyed the nature center, especially the room with a nest-like play area and lots of wildlife stuffed animals. The guides were very informative and were able to answer all... Nothing much to do. But nice spot to see the mountains. Good spot if you are looking for something quick. More if a rest area for cyclists.
