It was interesting to learn about the Boettcher Family and go through the building. Currently, it is an special events venue but you can still go through the house and learn about the family, the architecture and history of the home and area.

This was the third time I've been here and I love the Craftsman/Tudor architecture. Once the home of a very prominent Denver businessman, this mansion is high on Lookout Mountain and on a nature preserve. The drive up and back down is spectacularly twisty and offers great views at every turn. The staff is experienced and charming and seems to... More

This is a good stop as part of a trip to the nature center that is very nearby. I wouldn't make a special trip otherwise. It is a lovely place with good views and would be great for events and weddings.

The Boettcher Mansion is not really an old grand house, no real information or period objects. It's a good place to rent for an event, and the views are good

We were in the area so we decided to stop by the Boettcher Mansion, which is not far from the Buffalo Bill grave site. When we arrived we were kindly informed that we had about 20 minutes to view the indoors area before they were closing for a special event. It only took us about 20 minutes to tour the... More

We were at the Boettcher Mansion for a wedding. Although the mountainous views are nice and the old mansion is nice, it is really nothing very special. We have been in other old mansions and this one was just average. Compared to the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville, NC this was really just a guest house!

If you're looking to see some history in the Golden area check out Lookout Mountain, Boettcher Mansion, and Buffalo Bill's Museum and Grave. They can easily be done in the same day as they are all smaller attractions you can visit in an hour or two. Boettcher Mansion is a beautiful old historic site, with a beautiful little flower garden... More
