This is a beautiful course especially the back nine. It will challenge you but still possible to score well if you play well. Everyone's was very friendly, Marshall's, starter, wait staff. We had a great lunch very reasonable priced on the patio that has a wonderful view of the mountains. Only 20 minutes from Denver. Be sure to have a... More

Beautiful views. Good menu. The quality of the food was average. The service was good - wait staff was friendly. The only beer they serve is Coors - ugh. A one-time visit.

Really nice course and a real test of the longer tees. Fortunately, many greens are surrounded by bowls which feed onto the greens but there's also water on a few approaches. Well worth the 25 minute trip out from downtown.

My nephew and I just finished skiing Arapahoe Basin on March 20, 2014 in the AM then driving down to Golden for lunch at Fossil Trace's Three excellent Tomatoes restaurant. Then we enjoyed a super fun round of golf on this Jim Engh-designed course. I've played the course about 12 times now and have thoroughly enjoyed it every time. Check... More

One of the most beautiful courses in the state. Not for the faint of heart or for those who hit from the rough but worth the money.

We used to live in the adjacent area and knew this course was to be built. We play tons of golf and golf courses guide where we travel. Whether a traveller or a local, this is a very well run and fair value course that is spectacular in places and most importantly is fun for all but the rank beginner.

Ok, so I'm not a golfer and we didn't get to play here but we stopped for a while and really enjoyed the views and atmosphere of the place. The course looks very tight and difficult. On 12 you can view some of the fossils from triceratops trail. You can actually see the palm fossil that inspired their logo.

I thought the conditions at the course were excellent. The course really requires tight accuracy, which I didn't have this past weekend. The rough was a little thick for my liking, but all in all a good round. There was some construction going on a a Detention Center right next to it. That kind of took away from the scenery,... More

This is a great course to play if you are in the Denver area. The way the course was designed around the natural features makes it a course to remember. Take a minute to look at the fossil exhibit after hole 12. The course was in great shape and the staff was very nice.
