Beautiful views

Very scenic view of Golden and Denver. Beautiful views of the canyons to the north and west as well. A little sketchy at night though, lots of kids spend time up there.

Weather was not conducive to good vision of the mountains and the view, but can't believe the location of the large masts. Didn't seem sensible to us, I am afraid.

Cute little museum with great views. We took our four year old with us. He loved all the cowboy and buffalo artifacts, but didn't care much of the history (the adults loved it though). We got some cute pictures. It was fairly inexpensive, thankfully since we only spent about an hour there. The hill up to the gravesite is a... More

Only good from one direction. History from this side of the mountain was interesting, geologically. The other side of the mountain where Buffalo Bill is laid to rest lacks a view considering it has power lines, etc.

A must see when on 70. It's a quick turn off but the views are amazing. So much to see in awe of God's glory.

A must visit every time I visit Colorado. I have been coming to Lookout mountain since I was a little girl and each time I visit the views from the mountain top take my breath away. I usually prefer to visit after Labor Day when tourist season is dying down but this year I did not and there was a... More

Best views over Golden and Denver area! Fun drive up/down. Beware of the many cyclists! Or better yet, get on a bicycle yourself and get up the hill!

Great little parks, good bike trails with several trail heads. There are a few touristy stops like buffalo bills museum up the mountain and the Coors brewery in nearby Golden. I see paragliders flying all over the mountain-might try that someday. And don't forget to check out Lookout Mountain Nature Center.

Beautiful scenery. Awesome views of Golden and Denver. The drive was easy. Lots of bicyclists on the road, be careful! There is a charge for Buffalo Bills museum. Beautiful area.
