We took a day trip out of Denver to visit the town of Golden and the Coors Brewery but did not think it was worth the time. Just an ordinary tour of a brewery.

Quick recommendations: 1. Although kids are allowed, they will likely not enjoy the tour 2. Be prepared for a wait to get into the facility - long line only partially covered from the elements 3. Plenty of parking - no RVs or larger 4. Might need a designated driver - 3 free beers are offered at the end of the... More

Are you kidding me? 2 hours waiting line to go on self guided tour!? No thanks. They should at least have ticketing system to cope with that...worst ever and I have been to many breweries as Guinness, Heineken...

Who says nothing is free anymore?! Coors brewery tour was fantastic! Free parking/shuttle, and free tour that ends with 3 free beers of your choice. Lots of fun to see how it is made and the history behind everything. A must do for any beer fans or if you are just looking for something to do in the Denver area.

It's a fun tour and very informative. We got 3 full glasses of beer at the end of the tour, which is amazing. I do not normally drink beer and did not think I would like any of the beers, but I did really like the Native Colorado. It was worth the trip. You have to show your ID and... More

Having been on other brewery tours, this one lacked a bit. It is a self guided tour (per se) but has a audio transmitter to carry with you to follow along. The only part I was truly impressed with was the samples- quite a large size compared to other tours and a very nice space to enjoy the samples in.... More

So when you show up to the parking lot, you have to wait in line to ride a shuttle that will take you through the city of Golden. The bus driver was pointing out her favorite spots. When we got there, you were issued a remote to listen to throughout the tour. The tour itself is all self guided, which... More

First, its free...Second, they give you beer...Third, you actually learn quite a bit! It was a fun way to spend a few hours! Teddy was a great shuttle driver too! :)

We enjoyed learning the Coors process. There are no more guilds, the tour is now self guided with a device to hold up to your ear. 3 free beers at the conclusion of the tour (soda for the kids).
