I've been to all the breweries for the good ole American beers. This one doesn't have a ton of history, but the beer tasting at the end is pretty good. You get three ice cold beers of your choice (they have more brands then you'd think). Then when you're done, head into the downtown of Golden for some cheap pitchers... More

The tour is cool, but I know the procedure because I've been here many times. Everytime I get a wristband, I go to the other elevator on the far right to avoid the tour and go to the second floor directly to the free samples (which is 3 decent samples that get's you a good buzz and no tip required).... Having been to the Coors Brewery years ago I had bragged about it and while visiting Colorado again with my Husband I insisted we go and that he had to see it. What a disappointment. From the few years ago I went (maybe 3 or 4) they have cut out half the tour and no longer have a tour guide.... More

We went to Golden and were told at the visitors center that the Coors Brewery tour was within walking distance, so we left out car there and walked through town with out camera bag, because that were we keep our camera. When we got there we took a bus to the Tour, came inside, got our picture taken, and then... More

If you're a fan of beer like me, visiting Coors Brewery in Golden Colorado is a treat. Although we had our two young sons with us, the free guided tour of the brewery is still a neat experience for everyone. They'll provide electronic devices that allow you to listen to recorded audio snippets during several points along the tour. I'm... More

This was our first brewery tour stop on our recent trip to Denver and was the least impressive. You get a listening device (box) or you can use your phone and then walk around their brewery and the box talks to you about the things going on in that area. You go to the next are and press the next... More

As a native of Milwaukee,WI I looked forward to visiting the Coors Brewery in Golden, CO. Since the merge of these two breweries in 2008, I was curious to see if there was any Miller influence at the Coors Brewery in Golden. There is not. Not even any signs. But that didn't disappoint or discourage me. We were very satisfied... More

Since we were in Golden we decided to stop in and take the Coors tour. We waited over one hour to take a bus that traveled only a few minutes to the brewery (Note this was a weekend and a Sunday) so it was busy. They take a quick drive around the town and then drop you off at the... More

Based upon others reviews, you can get an idea about this tour. I just want to highlight a few things before you go with kids. 1. The tour is every about every 10 minutes. Shuttle buses pick you up in the parking lot after you wait in line and take you briefly around town, then into the factory . The... More

Even though not a Coors lover, decided to take the brewery tour as we were in Golden to attend a wedding. Learned that they make more than Coors, Parking is a couple of blocks from brewery but you hop on a shuttle bus and make a short circle drive through downtown Golden where the driver points out a couple of...
