Golden Gate Canyon State Park has a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains (see photo). However, the roads are narrow and very windy! We stayed at Golden Gate Canyon State Park for 5 days. The camping space was spacious and well shaded. Temperatures the first week of July were cool. From this park you can reach alot of different area destinations easily. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
