This is a small museum documenting the life of Buffalo Bill from his childhood to his death. There is quite a bit of memorabilia, and a lot of panels to read as you wind through the collection. At me of this writing, entrance fee was only five dollars, so I felt that I learned a lot for a good value.... More

This was an unexpected treat. Who knew that BBill was buried in Golden. The drive up the mountain was twisty. Take it slow. There are places to stop all along the way. It's a 20 min drive. Well worth the view at the top. Try the fudge. Expensive though tasty.

We went here as a family during Memorial Day weekend. The museum is small, but full of information. The staff were extremely informative. My husband loved it here! The views around the area are amazing. We walked up to the grave afterwards, and bought a few things at the gift shop afterwards. It was a nice little visit.

Didn't visit the museum but did visit the grave and adjoining snack and gift shop. We had a guide who filled in all the information re: the story of Buffalo Bill's death, funeral, mistresses, and potential grave robbers. Scenery here is beautiful and well worth the trip.

If you are into this sort of thing. Beautiful location for the gravesite of a famous westerner. Just the graves of Bill and his wife nicely displayed.

Love learning about the old west stories and Buffalo Bill lived a life with a lot to tell. The drive was great, the views are breath taking and the musuem and store are worth the visit. It's a short walk to the grave site and pretty magical to think about everything when visiting.

We saw the advertisement on the highway and since we had time decided why not? About a 15-20 minute drive into the mountains brings you to the top of Lookout Mountain were the views were spectacular. We spend almost 30 minutes along out side looking here and there. Great view of Golden Colorado and the Coors plant! While we did... More

The gravesite is approx 300' up a small incline but the views at the top are spectacular. The Muesum is very interesting and should be viewed first to learn about Buffalo Bill, (Small Fee to visit Musuem) but all else is free.
