It was snowing a little and I got some great pictures. The museum is very informative and has a large gift shop with quite an assortment of gifts and prices. I found some jewelry there that I've not seen anywhere else. You can see four states from the top of Lookout Mountain, which is where Buffalo Bill requested he be buried.... More

Wonderful views from the top of the lookout mountain. Gift shop was huge and the cafe was good. We'll have to visit the museum next time when we have more time.

If you are a history buff and in Golden, take time to drive up Lookout Mountain to the Buffalo Bill Grave and Museum. The Museum is well done. The drive up is steep and winding if you approach it from Highway 6. You might have a little bit of trouble with the altitude if you are a low-lander. The grave... More

We enjoyed stopping here for the museum. I especially like the list of all the places Buffalo Bill took his show throughout the United States.

We visited the museum and grave because our brother-in-law wanted pictures. We were very pleasantly surprised - the museum has a lot of Buffalo Bill's clothes, pictures and real western artifacts. We even got to hear his voice from an old recording! The museum does an excellent job of portraying the old West and Buffalo Bill's role in it. The... More

Drove to the top of Lookout Mountain for the views, and assumed that the Buffalo Bill Museum/Grave would be just a bonus. Mountain views were awesome and made the drive worth it. Unfortunately, the museum was not. We elected to NOT pay and go through the museum. Gift shop and museum were overpriced tourist traps. Actual grave location was free... More

Great View from Lookout Mountain and full of history and interesting facts. Great place for a picnic with views of Coors Brewery. Have not been here since late 1970's or early 1980's.

I like this place and the feeling it inspires. I learned many things about William Cody. Amazing. If you want to feel a cowboy don't miss it.
