Very interesting place. Kinda got the feeling it was more to sell you memorabilia than a "Museum". I am probably being a little harsh. It did have a lot of interesting information that I did not have knowledge of, just not a big fan of the huge "gift shop".

Interesting piece of history on top of Lookout Mountain. Well worth the drive up there. Stunning 360 degree views of Denver and the Foothills. Combine with a visit to the Nature Center and/or Boettcher Mansion.

This museum is good, but the family was kind of bored. The view there is fantastic and would recommend going there at least for that.

At 5 dollars the museum was excellent value. Lots of info and interesting artefacts. Cool to be able to search if Buffalo Bill had taken his show to our town in Scotland. He had, for three different nights. Grave was nice but poor for pics as a fence surrounds it and it has no view of the mountains due to... More

We made the drive up to the Buffalo Bill Museum. My husband is a huge history buff. Really interesting film about his life. Beautiful setting. Very interesting artifacts from his life. Well worth the trip!!

The final resting place is neat to see. We stumbled across it while on our way to Colorado. It is a long way off the interstate. A little disappointed to see the overlook was littered with power lines, etc. None the less, it was very interesting to see. The museum is lacking but all the history within is informative. I... Just $5.00 for the museum, but the museum is just one part of it. If you don't want to pay for that, you can still enter the gift shop which is a great place to buy touristy trinkets and you can to the lookout and see the amazing views of Denver. There is a small diner with everything from convenience... More

Memories and dreams of living the life of Buffalo Bill come to a point at this mountaintop final resting place. Yes the giftshop is like most others - full of trinkets and trash. However - next door in a few rooms chock full of artifacts and memorabilia - the careful reader can get a glimpse of a man who was... More

It's an interesting way to spend a few hours. It's not the best museum but if you're at all interested in cow boys and history, it's good fun. It's at the top of a very steep windy mountain which is also fun to drive up.
