This was an unexpected surprise! Went to this museum as a side trip while in Denver. A self guided tour that had all the information on the exhibits. It was very expansive on Buffaloe Bill's life and accomplishments. There was a 15 min video before you started your tour. It had other information on famous American Indian Chieftans as well,... My husband and I went up here to see Buffalo Bills grave sight, unaware that there was an actual museum there as well. As adults it was pretty cool, very small, to the point museum. They have a really cool gift shop that I really enjoyed.

Did a solo trip up Lookout Mountain to check out this historical site. There is a little museum, gift shop, place to get food and many wonderful point of views of surrounding Denver and the Rocky Mountains.

At $5.00 per person, this museum is well worth the ticket price. There is tons of information, not just about Bill, but about American history. You can ride a horse, dress up like a cowboy, see a movie, and view lots of artifacts. I'm not particularly interested in Buffalo Bill, but really enjoyed the exhibits. The grave is small and... done that.... Nothing really exciting about it other than the great view of Denver below. Nice drive up, I would not advise it in bad weather though. Typical tourist stop.

My relatives from Wales were visiting and had this attraction on their list of things to do in Denver. I had not been since I was a child. It was a very fun morning, reading all the history and seeing so many great pictures and newspaper articles. It did seem a little pricey, but we really enjoyed it!

The views were very pretty, unfortunately, the museum seemed like it was a bit run down and over priced.

After driving up Lookout Mountain, when in the area - why not visit one of the most famous cowboys in the land? It was a beautiful day after a snowfall but the roads were cleared and the views of Denver and Golden spectacular. We entered the museum, not knowing what to expect, and it is well worth the $5 admission.... More

I went here through Grayline Tours and the place is great. Going up the mountain itself is already a great experience and reaching Buffalo Bill's Grave and Museum is just amazing. The actual museum for me is not that appealing as I'm not into cowboy stuff but the view around the area is what I really love - it's 8,000... More
