I had always heard about Buffalo Bill but knew nothing beyond recognizing the name. The museum provided an excellent historical overview of Buffalo Bill's life and the Wild West Show. My party enjoyed our visit to the museum. If you're in the area, I would recommend a visit to this attraction.

If you are into the whole Annie Oakley, Wild West thing you will enjoy this. It's very interesting and well done and gives a real sense of what it was like to live in the West when it was still the frontier. There is a museum, gift shop ( of course) as well as a small resturant and snack bar.....a... More

The museum was reasonably priced and had lots of great displays. Who knew Buffalo Bill Cody was such an icon? Highly recommend watching the video that depicts his life. The walk to his grave is not far from the museum and is handicap accessible.

We thoroughly enjoy our visit to this windy and wonderful spot where Buffalo Bill is buried with his wife. The museum tour was wonderful (there is a small fee for entrance). It is a short walk from the parking area to where he is actually buried, overlooking the grand view into the Denver area. Follow the signs and ignore a... More

The Buffalo Bill Grave and Museum sits atop Lookout Mountain, which affords it a nice view of Denver and the surrounding area. The museum itself is actually fairly detailed and well done. I didn't know very much about Buffalo Bill, but I learned quite a bit. The exhibits were detailed, and there is a short film. Although the museum is... More

You need to drive a road that is really a challenge but not that hard. A nice view from the top. We got to watch Annie Oakley and her shooting. A lot going on in the Museum to show you how Buffalo Bill lived his life.

The drive up to the site was nice but we choose not to pay to go into the museum. Seemed small for the price. The General store had a lot of cool things in it

After leaving Denver we headed to Golden, Co to see this museum. I'm now much older but wanted to share this with our grandchildren. It's changed a lot since I was a young child but it is still very impressive and a great history lesson to boot for everyone concerned. We met people from England that made a special trip... More

We took an early morning drive to the Museum and grave. Arrived before opening so went the grave, simple inscription and nice view. Still before opening we breakfasted at the little diner next to the museum, nice eggs & bacon. The museum was small but very interesting. Exhibits and information were of a high standard and easy to understand. We... More

The museum curators did a good job of helping you feel what inspired Buffalo Bill's passion. The location is top of the world beautiful and therefore worth the trip. The museum is so so. I was most impressed by Sitting Bull's headress and Buffalo Bill's buckskins. Why would the museum have that headress. It seems like it should belong to... More
