The items are on display and not only are the views outside worth it, the artifacts gathered inside are priceless artifacts of American history, and tell a story of a great American figure known around the world. This is a must stop and see. I did not eat at the little cafe on site, but from what I saw the... More

An interesting spot to learn more about William Cody. The museum displays are not like what you would find at the Smithsonian, but has some interesting artifacts. You also learn about the reason for his internment here in Golden vice his ranch in Nebraska (also good for a visit). Always nice to go up on Lookout Mountain to see the... More

Great views, a history lesson & trinket shopping. What more could you ask for? Oh, a beautiful and fun road to get to the top of the mountain? They've got that too.

small museum but great. Learned a lot of interesting things. They have a lot of great pictures and articles and artifacts. They have a small area for children to dress up and rope a calf and sit on a stationary horse for great pics. There is a great view overlooking the city. It was a very nice educational day

Great stuff from the original showman, original stuff form the Wild West Show, some great film from the time(!), and some interesting stuff to tell your friends about. I bet you find some place he played right next to your home, no matter where you live in the US! Even the entire world! Buffalo Bill toured everywhere in his heyday... More

I wrote my senior thesis in college on Calamity Jane 5 years ago and this was a big part of her story. I was so excited to stop here! They have a nice museum and there are some amazing picture spots! The food at the cafe was great too!

Our grandchildren enjoyed Buffalo Bill Museum trying their hand at calf roping, native bead design and dressing up in western clothing. My husband and I learned interesting information about this many faceted man. There is also information about Sitting Bull as well as Native American artifacts. The entrance fee is only $5.
