Sunlight features 67 named trails covering over 470 acres. In addition to miles of cruising intermediate terrain, Sunlight's East Ridge has one of the steeper runs in the state. Aptly named, The Heathen falls beneath your feet at a breathtaking 52 degrees. Sunlight is home to one of the longest trails in ski country, Ute, a beginner slope that winds more than 2 miles from summit to base. Sunlight also hosts some of the best tree skiing in Colorado with many aspen groves untracked days after snowfall. All trails converge at the base lodge, so friends and family can always keep track of each other

one of the last real small mountains, run by locals, I assume owned locally, this place is a true GEM! Close to Glenwood Springs, a few hotels on mountain, and NOBODY there. We had powder 3 days after the storm, my longest lift line in 3 days had 6 people in it. Killer food at the base, Liftopia got me... More

I only had one day to sneak in some skiing on this trip and had never been to Sunlight Mountain. I lucked out and went on a perfect clear calm day that got up to about 30 degrees. Everyone there was fantastic. It had snowed 5 inches the day before and was groomed to perfection. There were no lift lines.... More

Only one word could describe our morning with Sunlight Snowmobile Tours...amazing!!! We had the perfect snow day for snowmobiling. Ty and Steve were excellent tour guides. For the part of the group who wanted to go fast, Ty was a great guide. While Steve was there for those of us that wanted to go at their own slower pace. They... More

If you want to get into the backcountry on a snowmobile near Snowmass/Aspen, take a ride with Sunlight Snowmobile Tours. Ty, the guide, was outstanding and focused on delivering a unique experience on the 30-mile, three-plus hour ride in the mountains in the White River National Forest. The views of the mountains braced against the blue sky were awe-inspiring. Most... More

Awesome doesn't even begin to describe our tour well enough! Our guide Ty was so much fun and did a great job making sure we all had a great time! We definately gave him some challenges as some of us in the group were a bit overzealous and got off trail a few times, but he just laughed and told... More

Everyone in town advised me to go to u light for the most fun at the best price. I took lessons and had an excellent instructor who took the experience very serious and saw that I was ready to go. Mountains were vey fun and easy to navigate. Food and drinks right by the ski left were great. All employees... More

Enjoy the area very much. Skiing at Sunlight is a quick drive and offers a little bit of easy and a little bit of hard and a bit more of more difficult fun for our family

Luckily, we found out about this gem because our season pass to Snowy Range in WY gave us 3 days to Sunlight. We promptly took a mini-vacation to Glenwood Springs and had a blast! The snow was great, it's not crowded, and there was plenty of variety in the runs. We also liked how all routes led to the same... More

I have skied vail, beaver creek, snowmass, aspen, a basin, but NOTHING beats sunlight! Sure, the lifts suck. Who cares? You can NOT beat the prices, and the staff is always friendly. My favorite part of the mtn is the runs. At a busier mtn you would have to look both directions before even going down something. It's so spread... More

Our family of 7 choose the Sunlight Snowmobile Tours - Adventure Ride. Our youngest rider was 8 yrs. The tour exceeded our expectations and our guide Ty was excellent for each individual pace! We plan to return!! (PS: Next time I will pack snacks lol)
