Sunlight features 67 named trails covering over 470 acres. In addition to miles of cruising intermediate terrain, Sunlight's East Ridge has one of the steeper runs in the state. Aptly named, The Heathen falls beneath your feet at a breathtaking 52 degrees. Sunlight is home to one of the longest trails in ski country, Ute, a beginner slope that winds more than 2 miles from summit to base. Sunlight also hosts some of the best tree skiing in Colorado with many aspen groves untracked days after snowfall. All trails converge at the base lodge, so friends and family can always keep track of each other

We can ski Vail or Beaver Creek any day of the week, but my kids-ages 12 and 14, would rather ski here. Great terrain, no lift lines, and the whole mt. leads to one base area. Its skis much bigger than the mt stats would have you believe. Its a blast from the past, dirt parking lot, stash your ski... More

Away from the hustle of Vail or Aspen, Sunlight is a lovely place to ski and spend the day with your family. Lots of local places to stay at, eat and shop are close by so bring your loved ones and have a blast!

Love this place!! quiet and rugged and great for everyone from children to hunters to skiers or if you just want to get away from it all for a few days or weeks. Close to Glenwood Springs but far enough away that you have the most beautiful views! Just adding a restaurant/bar to the site and has a pool table... More

I love this place! We've been here many times and never been disappointed. Always a great time, it's not far from glenwood so it's easy to get to if that's where your staying and it doesn't get to crowded on weekdays

Skiing at Sunlight is an escape from the mega resorts and mega crowds! Sunlight is a small ski area with great snow...and a vast array of amazing runs from blue to challenging blacks! A great place for families; you'll love the lift staff, patrollers, and other mountain personnel. The price is certainly right....and you'll get a exciting day of skiing.

Sunlight is a very family friendly place to ski and we enjoy our time there. However, do not plan on eating there. The food is horrible and expensive. If they would improve the lodge and have a few nicer food choices, I would give them an "excellent" rating.

Just love this small town feel resort. Reminds me of the Highlands before it got developed and enjoy living in this small mountain town community I call home. Its the best for the money you could ever expect.

Perfect low-key resort. Staff is beyond friendly, not too crowded...even during holidays. Great skiing for families, especially beginners. Would choose Glenwood over Aspen any day. Also went snow mobiling - ridiculously awesome time. Can't say enough good things about the people.
