My husband and I , along with our 9 year old twins drove from Breckenridge to Glenwood Springs to see the famous hot springs. We were very disappointed when we arrived only to find that the hot springs was turned into the town pool. Imagine an olympic size pool only a little bigger with a slide. The worst of it... more

After going to indian hot springs, this is definitely an upgrade. My wife and I took grandma and our 21 month old and we all enjoyed ourselves. I found the place quite clean and spacious. There was a lot of room to swim around. This is a great place for a family, but if I wanted a romantic weekend, this... more

I've stayed at the Hot Springs Lodge before and always enjoy it. We travel a lot and usually stop here for a day or two. I enjoy the lodge as it is reasonably priced and the rooms are very clean. We always swim in the pool and soak in the hot mineral water. If you've never been around sulfur smell... more

Before I go on my tirade, I will say that this seems like a nice pic for families with small children--especially during the summer when the waterslides are open. However, if you are a hot spring aficionado DON"T BOTHER! It's WAY overpriced for what it is--basically a warmish "spa pool" that smells of chlorine (and a teensy bit naturally sulfurish)... more

The novelty of the pools was interesting and the temperature was very relaxing - in theory. Note: the water tastes very salty and the smell is quite sulphuric (like rotten eggs). It goes with the territory, but know what you're in for. We went on July 6th, a very crowded holiday weekend. The pools themselves could use some updating and... more

We are glad we decided to at least go for the experience. But it was pricey so I suggest going after 6 pm if you don't choose to slide because the slide closes at 6 pm...It's VERY crowded and the most are polite but some parents leave their children unattended. The snack counter staff are very unhelpful and rude. I... more

My husband and I visited the Glenwood Hot Springs in April of 2006. It was a Saturday and there were lots of families enjoying themselves. We did go in the late afternoon, and did not feel crowded at all. In fact, my 55 year old swimmer and diver was able to use the diving board almost by himself, maybe one... more

We visited the springs on August 15th during a Colorado vacation. The town of Glenwood Springs is a highly developed tourist spot, so expect crowds and noise as part of the experience. Going to the springs themselves was an experience much like going to a very crowded amusement park. The visit was not cheap ($54 with the water slide rides... more

I use a three-wheeled scooter to get around. The hot springs pool, is not very accessible. There are no large dressing rooms. No seats in their showers, even if they had one big enough to put one in. No ramp into the pool. Even though they remodled the water slide. There is still no way for a wheelchair user to... more
