Well, I've been to Yampa Spa before and the last time I went, the caves were TOO much to handle. I just felt way too claustrophobic (which is not my complaint). Second time I went up, I decided to just get a manicure. To simply put it, WORST manicure I've ever gotten. I could have done the same job. When... More

We have been to Glenwood Springs several times, but never took the time to go into the Yampah Spa and Vapor Caves, it was a snowy Saturday afternoon when we arrived we called and found the Spa has Monthly specials, so signed up for couples body scrub and massages, it was so relaxing we forgot about time! Love this place and visit ever time we are in the area. The solarium is relaxing and we appreciate the lemon wster very much. My favorite part of our day is laying on the rock benches and enjoying the deep relaxation it brings to the mind and body.

A true unique and authentic spa experience! Tucked in the corner near the Glenwood Hot Springs pool and the side of the mountain, the Yampah Vapor Caves are rich in history, uniqueness, atmosphere and a sense of natural healing. The vapor caves are one of my favorite places in Glenwood springs and are located right next to the pool. Your... More

the vapor caves were a new experience for us. It was wonderful! Start early, and come back later in the afternoon for a second chance of the vapor caves!

Yampa Vapor Caves & Spa is a unique experience and reasonably priced. Today was my fourth visit to the caves, each time followed by a 50 minute massage. At $79, the 50 minute full body massage is the most reasonably priced massage in the Roaring Fork Valley. Add $9 to hang out in the vapor caves, and you have an... More

This is definitely not what I would call an upscale spa. BUT, we had a great, relaxing evening here and enjoyed the historical and natural aspects of the experience. The vapor caves are really interesting and quite an experience. If you get grossed out about touching things others have touched, sitting on stones others have sat on, and sweating in... More

Per usual, I am usually pretty put off by the people whining and crying about what they THOUGHT they were going to get versus what they actually GOT at any given location. Cathy R from Gladwyne, PA, I'm looking at you. Everytime I travel I get my nimble little fingers on the keyboard and go to this neat little place... More

We paid $12 per person to do just the vapor cave. They offer lockers and a changing room. Lockers are a quarter. You put on your swimsuit and a provided robe and head down a stone staircase. Go through a shower curtain to the first chamber- it's about 98 degrees and use as a cooling area. Then then next chamber... More

You are better off having a nice treatment in an upscale Spa. I was unable to relax and enjoy a treatment here because the atmosphere is very sub-par. Others have described it as no-frills but it is actually gross. I did not want to touch the plastic shower curtains that separate spaces, or sit down in the caves. Are those... More
