Honestly, I came to this "Spa" with really high expectations. WOW was I let down. The facilities are old, outdated, and smell horrible. My husband booked me a package deal (bath, mud wrap, and massage). The treatment started with a bath. I was so confused. NO instructions. How long am I supposed to sit in tepid water? Am I supposed... More

We spent about 2 hours at the Yampah Vapor Caves. We spent 15-20 minutes at a time in the caves then would come up and cool off in the solarium. I get the impression that it gets pretty busy there but while we were there (10am-noon on a Sunday) it was way more relaxing than the Glenwood Hot Springs because... More

The vapor caves were really cool. It only takes 5 mins before you are covered in sweet, ready for a cool down. My wife and I also really enjoyed the private hot springs. You could go to the hot springs that is jam packed with people or you could go to Yampah and get the hot springs pumped straight into... More

The Yampah Vapor Caves are a unique stop. Natural caves with the geothermic vapor and water. The spa provides many services including mineral baths and massages which my husband and I took advantage of.

This place is wonderful. We only did the caves - but they also have tons of spa treatments available. The caves were like an intense sauna/steam bath! There's a lovely solarium room to cool off in between trips to the vapor caves. If you go, take flip flops with you...they use hard rubber mats on the floors in places (like... More

Whenever I visit the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado I try to spend an hour or thereabouts in the Vapor Caves so as to have a relaxing sauna equivalent. I have not yet tried the Spa treatments, prefer the caves only in order to enjoy a cleansing sweat. One is provided with a towel and flip flops. There are lockers... More

Been dying to do the vapor cave for years! Finally had the opportunity to do so. They are neat, however, the recommended time to be in them is max 15 min so felt like $9 or $12 was a lot to pay unless you have all day to go back and forth to visit. I did have a massage and... More

Vapor Caves - amazing! Spa - alright. What an awesome experience, to descend the stairs and find yourself immersed in underground caves so hot it feels like you are breathing through a straw. It was so relaxing. Then when you can't take the heat and steam anymore, you go back up to the Solarium where they have a relaxing waterfall,... More

This is a great place for a girls weekend. My aunt and bff's went here and did the spa monthly special. It was a great deal you get to soak in mineral/essential oil baths which is great..... probably best suited for a couple because it is intimate, but for my girlfriends and i we just turned our heads and (didn't...
