I'm a local and love Loveland. It's simple one of the best places for average ski people in Colorado. These are the people who have no ambition to Heli-Ski, don't spend $1,200 on skis every year, and never paid more than $30 for any article of ski clothing in their lives. I am afraid that my review of Loveland Ski Resort (it seems small to be able to call it a resort, but will out of respect for this place) is dismal at best. We were recently in Denver and decided to go to Loveland to ski for the day. It is the closest place to ski from Denver. It is a great ski area. The lift lines were never too long and the skiing is good for everyone. We usually ski greens and blues and had no problems. The staff was very helpful... more

Where the locals go. Closest ski from Denver. Very nice staff and lots of beginner/intermediate slopes. Nice place for kids. more
