I wasn't really sure what to expect, but this was a wonderful experience!! The guides are very knowledgeable and fun. The owner came out with our group too and was on the safety boat because the water levels were high. I was really nervous at first, but I had a blast. I would certainly do this again!

We were fortunate to get our booking at the high water of the season. The guides were experienced and entertaining and made the whole trip, from the bus to the raft and back on the bus again, a lot of fun.

I've been on two trips with Mountain Whitewater Descents and I have enjoyed both trips immensely! The first trip was a wedding party activity and the second was a company team building trip. The crew at MWD are great at coaching safety in a way that keeps everyone's attention and builds your confidence as you face rapids and rock faces.... More

The whole family agreed this was the best activity we did on our trip to Colorado and MWD was definitely the best choice. There were 3 rafts in our group that day with guests ranging in age from 6-66. Every guide was friendly and made the trip fun. They created camaraderie between the people on the different rafts and had... More

What a great company! The staff, they are all awesome! I felt they did an excellent job training us before our trip. Trevor was so much fun. Look for us in June, we are still smiling and enjoy looking at our photos and video over and over! Thank you all!

I grew up running rivers in a family owned raft; so, running with a guide was a fairly new experience. We had friends with children who had never been on a river with us and, for obvious reasons, were a bit nervous. Those concerns were quickly proven unwarranted and the kids had the time of their lives! Safety was of... More

We went rafting mid July with a group of three. We got teamed up with another family of four. It was a really good time, probably the highlight of our trip. We had never been rafting before and the guide made it pretty easy for us. However, I would say I was exhausted by the end of the trip. We... More

Dan was an awesome raft guide and had so much can fun!! The river was super low, but I still had an amazing time! Me and my friend have been in trips like this before, but as a group and as a raft this was by far the most fun!! I highly recommend them!!

It was a great time! Even though the water was low (it was pretty late in the season, and had just dropped a couple more inches the day before we went) it was still a good time on the water. We had Nate as our guide and couldn't have asked for a better one. He made the best out of... More

My husband and I recently visited Colorado from Michigan, and used Mountain Whitewater Descents for our rafting trip. Honestly, the fact that there was a bar on site swayed us to book there.... We were both excited but a little nervous as this was our first time rafting, but we had an absolute blast! Donny was our guide, and he... More
