Make this a MUST when in Fort Collins. This artifact, and the amazing people whose care that goes into it and its preservation needs be perpetuated and funded as long as possible. The rail-house needs be funded to become a museum, to further explore this slice of history.

You can't go wrong at Fort Collins City Park; picnicking, plenty of shade, large play ground, water park class pool, water craft rentals on the lagoon etc. AND for something different take the trolley car tide to downtown. At a minimum hop off and visit Walrus' Ice Cream Shop. If you want lunch you're close to the RIO and if... More

Riding the Fort Collins trolley is fun for local residents and visitors of all ages. It’s a nostalgic experience for older folks who rode trolleys years ago, and a new kind of ride for many young children. The skillfully restored Birney Car 21 trolley travels from City Park down Mountain Avenue to Howes Street in Old Town. With electric power... More

This was a great experience, the kids had a great time too! The conductor John was informative and friendly. We would definitely go again. It's only open on weekends from 12-5 from May - September.

Took kids on this and they enjoyed the ride - the sights and the sounds of the trolley! Price was reasonable and you could get a ride to the park and then back to where you parked.

This was a fun afternoon. I've lived here several years and finally happened to be at City Park when the trolly was there. we really enjoyed it. Just one more thing that makes Fort Collins so unique.

This is a single restored trolley car than runs a couple of miles from a park to old town. The round trip takes about 30 minutes, and transfers are available so you can spend time at either end of the route. It is a fun ride with information on local history given by the motorman and the conductor, who are... More

I just wish it went further and there were more. It's cheap and fun to ride between downtown and city park. The guys that volunteer are super friendly and love to talk about it and show kids whatever they're curious about. It's a fun thing to do while spending time downtown.

In the nineteen teens Fort Collins was served by a network of trolleys. There are few pieces of track still embedded in roads. A single short line has been restored down Mountain Avenue from City Park to the edge of the Downtown. The trolley is beautifully restored and the short run down the town's most historic street is a nice... More
