It's close to pretty much everywhere in Fort Collins, so convenient for a hike when you don't want to drive 30 minutes to get to the trail head. There are 2 different trails leading off from the trail head and those split off into a number of options. Hiking to Horsetooth Rock is very popular and it is fun, though... More

We have visited spring canyon park several times while visiting our young grandchildren. We feel very safe at the park. The kids love all of the interactive equipment. It is a gorgeous settling. It is a joy to see so many children & families playing together. Thanks to all who have made this possible.

My husband and I are hikers some would consider the hike to Horsetooth Falls easy. It was about a two hour round trip for us but my husband stops to take a lot of pictures. The path is gravel so for the most part it is easygoing. Due to the recent overs undone of rain, there were parts of the... More

We stopped by after a rainy weekend and found the trails slippery and muddy so only took a short hike. We found some big rocks overhanging the lake we used for some fun photo opps. We will come back again when the weather is more cooperative.

The parking lot hold only about 25 cars. If you are not a Colorado resident there is fee of 6 dollars last time I was there in 2014. Once you know to head up and away from the crowds you can find a handful of trails that will take you about four hours roundtrip with a few moderately steep climbs... More
