The reservoir water with the mountains as a backdrop is beautiful. Explore! I hiked Horsetooth Falls. If you go there, be sure to go up on top too. The view from the top is amazing.

Spent two days riding many great trails (Swan Johnson, Soderberg, Nomad, etc.). Coming from Atylanta, the elevation was a bit tough to get use to, but fantastic rides for two days!

Horsetooth trails was about a 3 hour round trip hike for us. Gorgeous panoramic views once you hit the top but it takes some effort to get up there! Clean path along with some critters. We saw a snake and a baby chipmunk!

Make sure you have a credit card to use in the machine for parking. There are bathrooms to use just off the parking lot which aren't the best, but useable. Reaching the... More

Stunning views of the reservoir and mountains. Lots of hiking trails and some bouldering opportunities. Ranger warned us of a lot of rattlesnakes but we didn't see any.

One of the best things about this park is that it is so close to Fort Collins, yet has a rural feel. It's also one of the worst things, since at times it can be a bit crowded. Go early or go off-season to avoid the crowds, but do go to this beautiful park that offers, forests, meadows, and a... More
