It is part of the CSU trial horticulture program. What a treat to see such a variety of plants in all colors, types and sizes. It has easy access just off College avenue with shaded areas, benches, etc. I will never miss it when I am in Ft. Collin.

Street parking is easy to find. The varieties of flowers planted in the ground are pretty mainstream but make a beautiful view from a distance. The potted section had more unique varieties of flowers and plants. Check out both. Area is pretty small so a quick walk through is possible.

Lots of beautiful colorful flowers to view...many varities that are very well-marked...they even tell you how much water they give the various varieties each week. A peaceful place for a walk or to sit and reflect as there are benches and a gazebo.

An excellent destination for a bike ride. The Trial Garden has beautiful flowers in many different varieties. You can wander through the garden and see the different colors and sniff the odoriferous varieties. It's a treat for the senses. We'll go here again!

Wonderful park, great for a picnic and the flowers are tremendous. Can cause jealousy for those without green thumbs, but oh well. Lots of room to run for kids and quiet places to sit for older people.

In visiting Fort Collins with a friend, we came across this lovely spot. I am a reader and she is a garden junkie. We stopped, she took dozens of pictures and I read blissfully among the blooms. We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. She was impressed with the information available about the varieties of plants. I was impressed with the... More

Colorado State's trial flower garden is worth a walk through and there is some fun and interesting sculpture nearby. We saw and heard an impressive owl in a Ponderosa pine nearby as well.

The trial garden is a great place to practice your flower photography. The wide variety of flowers will give you plenty of opportunity for pictures, and a great place to look for varieties to plant next year.
