We are new to Fort Collins and going to the Annual Flower Trial Garden helped us discover what plants are native and suitable for our garden. The display is incredible. I never realized that there we so many varieties of impatiens before. My husband and I visited the garden and we went back several more times with friends, visitors and... More

I first saw the trial gardens five years ago, and every summer they never cease to amaze me. The plants are all so well cared for, the colors breathtaking, and the layout absolutely gorgeous. A great place for a picnic, or to just sit and think.

Great place to look at the beautiful flowers in the summer. Unless you're really studying the flowers though, it's not going to take you any more than 15-20 minutes to meander around there, so don't expect this to be an entire day activity!

Worth a stop during spring to fall. Both potted and in ground plants. Wish I had their green thumb. Mostly two hour parking nearby. I would allow at least 30 minutes to an hour.

The northern Colorado Annual Trial Garden is a huge expanse of brilliantly colored flowers grown here by Colorado State University to see just how they fare at this elevation. It's a wonderful place to walk or relax and take in the beauty and aromas of the many varieties being tested each year.

As the name implied, this is a trial garden on the Colorado State University campus. Easily accessible and park. There are flowers of different variety and color everywhere. Well worth a detour through town to see.

A very impressive display of flowers, plants, and vegetables. It's surprising that all of these plants just disappear though, I wish I could take a cutting, but that is prohibited. Go on a nice sunny day, take a blanket and a book, and enjoy the beauty !

Gorgeous color everywhere; such unusual varieties of these colorful beauties abound. All were still in full bloom near the end of September. Definitely worth the visit. Just look for parking on the street. We walked a block or two around the corner afterwards, for lunch at the Wild Boar Cafe.

If you want an amazing Spring or Summer hour to three hour visit with spouse or visiting friends, a walk through this conveniently located beauty spot will knock your eyes out@! Replanted and fashioned each Spring-Summer by CSU bio and botany students and profs, it offers probably the widest range of local flora anywhere in the State. Easy walking, comfortable... More

The weather at this time of year makes this a must visit! Huge blossoms everywhere and such a great arrangement. Allow about an hour to walk through and experience everything.
