Lived in Fort Collins over 10 years before I first visited this area. WOW, what a little treasure. Free but does accept donations! Lots of unusual metal sculptures made from all kinds of farm implements and anything once disposed of. The river location is also really beautiful. No crowds, no rush and totally worth walking through. You will go back... More

Great for kids. All kinds of artistic creations and delights. If you like art and whimsy and creations made of scrap I would suggest stopping by for an hour or so.

I got the creeps when I first went in cause it like someone's yards..but after going in I saw all the hard work that went in to make these unusual shapes & forms..it was good but I wouldn't go nack..it's a interesting place tho.

So, I was in Ft Collins for work, but my co-workers were not interested in exploring on our time off... so off I went. What a delight to find a fanciful, imaginitive, unique, local garden of whimsical and creative design! I love to share my adventures with folks back home, and this was a HIT! Thank you for sharing your... More

When I got to the gate you already start to see the creativity that you are about imbark on. Simple amazing. Bill Swets did this all for the right reasons and did it well. $2.00 donation is asked and he could ask more. Loved it.

Bill Swets has such a great imagination. He uses parts of everything to make the most whimsical characters. It is a fun stroll through the 'zoo' for children and adults

This attraction is a throwback to a simpler time, when ingenuity and imagination trumped glitz and electronic gadgetry. Its dozens of giant sized Rube Goldbergesque world of insects and dinosaurs welded from car parts and scrap metal all covering several acres right on the river. And it's free! My kids used to go here on day care field trips 20 yrs.... More
