The Zoo is a favorite of my kids and we often take our out of town visitors. A right brain opening collection of creative sculptures, that will in fact bring you pure joy. In high river water times, part of the zoo is prone to flooding, but this should not deter your visit. Put this on your must visit list... More

Not a destination by itself, but great for an hour on the way out of town to see the little towns on the plains, Swetsville Zoo was built by one man over a few decades, and I've never seen anything quite like it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Swetsville Zoo sculpture garden. Great setting under some big trees offering plenty of shade and hard by the river. We went four days ago and I'm still chuckling over the creativity and humor in some of the sculptures. No signage visible from Harmony Road, just look for the ornate gates on the south... More

Very Unique. An art zoo collection. Would have liked to known the history of what this is or who built it. We were the only ones there.

Old parts that would go in the junk yard or landfill are turned into works of art. Right past Costco, free but donations accepted. Great place to spend an hour or two plus it is shaded and right by the river. Loved it and live in town and have gone a few times.

This is a locally owned sculpture garden. The "animals" are all made of different car and engine parts that the owner has assembled and displayed on his property. It is cool, but it will take maybe thirty minutes to walk through. It sits on the banks of the Poudre River which is kind of cool too. Easy to access location... More

This guy has a great imagination! I passed by his property for 15 years and have watched it grow and develop, flood and then dry out, and it still keeps going. Neat ingenuity

Great place for an hour stop. Whimsical metal sculptures, it doesn't get any better. It inspired me to want to pick up an arc welder, find a pile of scrap metal parts and get to building.
