The check-in process was very disorganized - everything from the people behind the desk to those delivering the initial safety talks all seemed to be operating in a vacuum. They didn't communicate well with each other, and that continued on the river. They seemed uncertain about who should go first or last and how they would help each other if... More

Our family recently used A1 Rafting company to enjoy a trip down the Poudre river for the crowning touch to our trip to the Rocky Mountain National Park area. Our party was split between two boats to travel the family friendly half day river raft tour. My family was in one raft with one of the grandparents and my husband's... More

Let's face it, for first time rafters, driving along the Poudre River to our put-in point and seeing the roiling river is nerve-racking. Like anticipating a new roller coaster. Me and my wife and 20-something kids and CSU nephew filled a raft with Michael as our guide, and we never looked back. Super-fun, so much fun. We just loved it.... More

If you love outdoors adventures, this is a place for you. The incredible conection with nature can not compare to anything. You can book from a relaxing experienced to an adventurous one, the one that gets your adrenaline going. I suggest you make reservation to go in large groups or a more intimate group of four ( family or two... More

We took the "Wild and Scenic" trip with two teens, 17 and 15. We were all first time rafters and I must admit were a little worried about the trip being too much for us. It was perfect! It was just the right amount of waves with some breaks. As some of the other reviewers stated, the guides did goof... More

We reserved a trip for eight people three weeks in advance at $40/person, but the employee on the phone evidently wrote down BOTH the credit card number and the phone number wrong. The credit card was never processed and we never got a call. When we called to confirm the reservation the day before, they informed us of all of... More

We took the family rafting trip because we had 4 boys 8-11 with us, and part of our extended group took the more adventurous ride at the same time. The river was high, but the family rafting segment was adventurous but not overly scary for the young ones. It was a good balance, the more adventurous in our group still... More

PLEASE use any other company.. Staff was unprofessional and you had to take your raft in and out of the water three times.

I purchased the groupon for the half day Wild & Scenic Tour. Included in that was the wet suit rental, boots, life jacket and blue suit that goes under the life jacket. That being said, checking in was simple and easy, as was getting the equipment for the trip. Everyone staff member was super nice and seemed excited about their... More

We had a great time. Eric was our guide and was very experienced and gave us highlights of the river as we went along. The water was high due to lots of rain but he kept us all in the raft. There was a bit of the frat boy attitude with the van full of employees we rode to the... More
